We take a bicycle ride through Uvita and Bahia to see how busy things are in late January. This is the busy season aka the high season aka the dry season, when more tourist arrive for their vacation trips to Costa Rica.We ride past the entrances to Parque Nacional Marino Ballena and the beaches there and ride through town to see what things are like. Great video, looks like you're getting great exercise! It looks so beautiful in Uvita! I was on the Pacific coast in 2001 in college, I had so much fun! The weather looks so delightful!

Just how long is that beautiful section through the trees?

I am really bad at estimating distance, but maybe a mile or so. When it gets a little dryer I do a loop that goes by the flutterby house as well. Sometimes you can see/hear the scarlet Macaws high up in the trees or a few mono congos. Just don’t stray onto park property, bikes are not allowed in the National park.

La casa de ciclista on the road to the whale tail . [phone] ask for Elmer he is also a very good bike mechanic. You can rent a bike there and it comes with a helmet. There are other places that rent bikes, but Elmers are probably in the best shape. He understands English a little, but if you text him via WhatsApp you can use the translator. Have fun and safe biking!
