I often refer to it as a "Phantom Dash", though more accurately named "Playspace recentering", if you reset your play space origin (achievable on oculus by holding the oculus button, a small circle will appear denoting how long until it resets), and then physically moving in your room to a different space, usually either forwards or backwards, and then recentering again which will cause your player character to snap to your playspace origin. You will notice on the floor you can see a small arrow, you can turn on "show playspace center" in settings so you know where you are going to teleport to, and how far away it is which helps you line it up.
