If you're considering replacing the ground rod, ensure you're cautious when inserting it into the ground to avoid damaging any other utilities.

Can you use this method while locating gas as well or is this method only best for locating power lines? New in the gas locating field so im curious

You could use the peak and null on any utility that you're trying to locate that's the best way of locating.

Yeah, I'm not in the city any longer. I'm out there in the suburbs just outside of Chicago.
