It was first album after huge scandals with GD and Daesung happened in 2011. All netizens ask BIGBANG to disband but they decided stay together and released album Alive in 2012. General public in Korea love BIGBANG’s music and always listen to their songs, that’s why mostly BB songs takes perfect all-kill and tops charts.

All Bigbang members can compose, produce, sing, dance, rap and play instrument. They often switch up verses in performing too. That's why every performance is different.

@@cru3ltmo Oh they all do. Esp. their concerts individually or Bigbang concerts. And with regards to their songs as well. In Seungri's album one of them was all composed by him except for one song. With Daesung mostly his solo. And when they collaborated with other artist.

@@cru3ltmo yes. Their first album- they are all credited as composers and after lies gd became the main producers and top writes his own verses. They 3 vocalists however focus on writing their solos- daesung’s solo mostly are in japanese because he is too popular in japan so if you don’t mind please dig to daesung and seungri’s solos also their solos are great

Song these days got PAK in only 4 charts, back then it was hard to get PAK but BIGBANG manage to chart in 12 charts

That's true, it was way more charts. But a lot of them were also uncontrolled and misused. Tough times. I'm happy we have a more controlled or rather tested system now. Technically it's 6 charts today btw, I imagine you didn't count VIBE or iChart (for this one consistency is needed)

This cb of them was really important. According to taeyang after the scandals of 2 members back in 2011 and daesung almost left the group because of that they decided to have a cb and try if it would still work out. Its their make or break moment and it became their best selling album up to this date. They also gained international recognition- first kpop to enter billboard chart 2011 they won 2 ema awards and also first in kpop to have an international award And i believe that the history will repeat after seungr’s scandal last 2019 bb will comeback stronger and bolder like what they did on alive era.

If you still can't identify all the members correctly, and you also said you couldn't find a good BB guide, then I suggest watching them on some variety shows eg Weekly Idol. You will be able to study their faces, and get to know their individual personalities and style, which should make it easier to identify them in mv's. And watch their solo mv's. You are right when you say that the more you watch them the more you realise how groundbreaking they were.

You need to check the tone color of the video to understand that when they show the girl it was in the past.. they video is always have meaningful details

I haven't heard this song in so long :') The one with the short hair you thought was T.O.P. at the start is Seungri, and then yeah that's Daesung after GD's first rap. (Btw we all just say "T.O.P." as "top" XD) And nah, T.O.P. is the only one with the low voice lol. Also rapping is reserved for GD and T.O.P. XP LOL no your first impression of T.O.P. is right XD "How can his voice be so different when he's rapping" it's because that's not his voice that you think it is XDD Well Seungri and Daesung usually got fewer lines early on and such because...well...GD wrote the songs and gave them certain parts that suited them XD
