Everyone failed him in some form or another. My suspension he was troubled even before joining BB.

They talk about how he never hangs out with them anymore and how he basically ignores them. He seems to have isolated himself rather than them isolating him. Seungri came into the group a bit insecure already (since it was between him and someone else and yg just barely chose him). There is only so much you can do when you see someone destroying their own lives. You can warn them and try to stop them, but it's ultimately their life and their choices. It's so unfortunate, because imagine effectively growing up together, learning the ways of the professional idol industry, being an artist, becoming an adult, but once you all have a little freedom, instead of worrying about the next steps you take as individuals, entrepreneurs, or artists, you're worrying about your youngest member losing themselves in the worst endeavors possible. It's hard for a sense of family to be built within a professional environment, but when they go through what they went through as a group, it was inevitable that they were gonna be a family of five. But it seems it's very easy for some people to change and to neglect what has been built. It's very sad.

He might have been trying to raise awareness through the song considering the country they live in. For Seungri to escape with a lighter sentence, it shows that the laws in Korea are pretty lax and BigBang members might not be able to do anything to it. The company was the one who suggested Mr Burning sun, it is probable that BigBang members are also threatened if they do anything. They may also not know the extent of his crimes. Just like most people didn't believe my siblings, my mum and I had to endure years of physical and emotional abuse from my dad. My dad still went around painting is bad when we just want to live our lives in peace. Some men are psychopaths that never for once will you believe they are capable of despicable things. It happens here in Nigeria too.

@@RoxxyFly He was also probably not doing shady business right from the get go. But it was clear probably to the members that his personality led him to wanting to do things that aren't so safe. So as soon as he gets an ounce of freedom both from the demands of BIGBANG as well as from his members (as their activities slowed down late 2010s) he probably was able to get into contact with more and more people who convinced him they could give him what he wanted. Most normal artists who have a sense of self preservation are probably gonna weed out the people who's just gonna bring them to places they shouldn't be, doing things they shouldn't be doing, but Seungri probably liked the attention and the fact he had influence. He liked it far too much. It's most unfortunate when it's the Maknae that falls from grace, because you'd feel a lot of remorse as an older figure in their lives. But with what he did and the amount of effort the members probably did to steer him into the right direction, he just took all of it for completely granted and he's now found himself in a hole.

The person I feel sorry for the most in this fairy tale with a bad ending is T.O.P. Even though he tries to appear tough, he has a sensitive soul and a heart of gold. So he didn't deserve any of this. Also, bigbang, the best thing that ever happened to Kpop, did not deserve such an end. But objectively, I say that their work is still the best in K-pop history, so I will be proud of them forever. A better one has never come and I guess it never will.

Some people are just sociopaths and it's really hard to change them. Honestly, law... is for sociopaths and psychopaths. No one else needs them to do the right thing... but sociopaths will always opt for the wrong path as long as they get what they want. I can totally understand the situation. I also had a close friend in the past and she didn’t let me know what she did. I guessed that there was something wrong with her. But I can’t tell because I didn’t know the problem very well. But I felt like something is not right with her. I thought it was not too important because I couldn’t pay too much attention to her life. When others found out the problems, they blame me like ,“ Why do you shut up although you know what your friend did?” Although I tried to explained, they would like to believe like , “ you are lying and you two are close friends, so there’s no way you don’t know about this” . And I was so frustrated. It was last 10 years ago but I still remember it. So,you can blame other members if they really knew about this situation . Don’t blame easily if we don’t know the truth. After years of warning him, he still did it. It makes sense for the rest of the members to not even consider him a member or a brother, since that was their right as older hyungs. Now look at the overall scope of things, Big Bangs career is over, all members went off doing their separate things. If only this didnt happen, Big Bang could have went on for another 5-10 years

When I first watched this, I didn't look at Seungri. I couldn't and didn't want to look at him. Then I watched it again. I watch the TOP section many times ( 0:30 ). While TOP was voicing his concerns about Seungri's friends, I finally looked at Seungri. He looked as though he didn't care. There is one word I'm thinking...smug. TOP was speaking the truth and G-Dragon was agreeing with every word TOP said. Then you hear the members of BigBang discussing how Seungri never hangs out with them but he hangs out with questionable friends. After that Burning Sun doc, I bet you G-Dragon was thankful he and the other members were not invited to that birthday party. I remember when TOP posted that crop photo of BigBang. He received a lot of hate but luckily, he had a lot of fans and friends that backed him up. Daesung took a hit from those haters too. G-Dragon knew that Seungri was not worth the effort. Seungri would never listen. So, G- Dragon cut him loose and the idiot didn't realize it. I hope the 4 members can come together and do another song (that will be difficult since 3 left YG) because anything is possible.

What some people look over is that groups always have little disagreements and they only sometimes show on stage, like bumping into eachother or not interacting with eachother when they have a feud. Yet with BB, all the other members called out seungri in public, even in a “joking” manner but that shows how much discourse there was behind the scenes.

Seungri wanted the fame and talent the other members had while he struggled hard to maintain an identity in big bang. You could feel the jealously radiating off him, thats why he didnt want them to be around him or else people would be more interested in the other members.

Now that my friends are listening to kpop, I want to see them with friends and brag about their music & live performance.
