Get your grandpa some trekking poles. They’re a game changer, especially at our age.

I give both of you huge credit for taking that trail to the top. I've been to the park a few times, and never made it to the top. Great video!

Nice job! I watched your Hwy 395 video on Thursday and was a bit frustrated with the "my grandpa and me" phrase used over and over again. When I noticed this video come up as a suggested video for me, I almost didn't watch it. So glad I decided to give it a try. I can really see how much you have improved. Thanks for posting a very useful video for older viewers. Your grandfather gives us inspiration to try new things. May he live long and stay healthy. And you are a very good grandson!

I don’t know why people are such grammar nazis these days. From my point of view I don’t judge people by the way they speak because people could be learning a new language, or not have the best education growing up, or they could have a speech impediment. You just don’t know with people and their backgrounds so topics like this really grind my gears personally… anyways thanks for tuning in and thank you for watching. I always try to put out the best quality content as possible.

Those of us who previously commented are not grammar nazis (which by the way is a highly offensive term, so not a great move insulting a new subscriber), but we do not want to listen to a content provider who appears to have been born in this country but lacks basic (elementary school) grammar. Re-reading my comment above, I realized that my quote of your repeated phrases from the earlier video was incorrect. The phrase you used was “me and my grandpa,” and you used it dozens of times in one video. It was really grating, which is why people commented. I haven't watched any other videos you have made, but my guess is you often get comments because of such usage. I watch many people whose English is less than perfect (my own isn't perfect, English is a difficult language to master) but at some point it gets to be just too much. The comments in the earlier video were meant to be constructive criticism which actually did help improve the product you are producing. When I saw the improvement in this video I was impressed. Too bad you still don't understand the importance of good grammar. My guess is that English is your native language. And if in fact you didn't have a good education, then instead of saying things like “who cares” (as you did in your other video) try to take this opportunity to learn. Speaking well does matter if you want to be a successful content provider.

I know you’ll be hitting most of the western (and most beautiful and interesting) national parks. Do you think you will ever come to any of the ones in the East? I actually live closest to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, but I think the best one that I’ve been to so far is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee/North Carolina.

I can comfortably say my grandpa probably won’t join me for any East Coast adventures. For me personally I would love to visit those places you mentioned. Just need time and money on my hands 😬
