Healthcare is a disaster. Polish doctors have license to rob the public. They refuse to see patients on insurance. Only in private practice for 200 PLN . In canada family doctor gets 150 PLN per patient in Poland 200 . It's a robbery in Poland

The plant you are asking about is called "bób". It is a very old food plant, known in Poland since at least the Middle Ages. Very healthy, nutritious plant, legume, like beans or peas. It is boiled in salted water. Nynke likes beans very much, she will tell you how to cook it.😁😚

In 14.20 those are broad beans or Yanke beans in US ( bób in polish) when is green, freshs nees to be steamed or cooked with salt they usd to sale them READY to eat on farmers markets back in time in Poland.That is a very nice market I would be shopping there everyday! Thnx for Vlog.

Sorry but those were broad beans. You boil them for 10 minutes and put salt in the last 2 minutes to the water ( if sooner bean will be hard) Poles eat a whole bag at one sesion with bit of butter as its very seasonal Polish veg.

This huge market sells products coming to Krakòw from all over Europe not from local farms. On the 11.38 sec on your film you are looking at kholrabi but below garlic label says polski czosnek. On any market polish products will have label ...KRAJOWE or POLSKIE on the label. Also photo with your mum and few ladies. They grown few products themselfs or eggs from their few chickens to suppliment their pensions. Their products are the freshes. Well done for buing their products.
