it's cool that you can set the direction of the arpeggiator per step in the xd's sequencer. kind of like a parameter lock. if I understood correctly that is. that's something the elektron sequencers cant do (other than the OT) if I'm not mistaken. I'd love to be mistaken though lol
@IhorMedia2 жыл бұрын
Minilogue has so called "Motion". Which is something quite similar to "Param Locks" from the Electron universe. And now I have good news for you! Pretty much every Elektron sequencer has "Param Locks", not only the Octatrack!

I remember the K5000s' arpeggiator. Very versatile, you could program what it should play in what order and what should be done if you have a 3 note arpeggio and pressed 4 notes, also stacking more notes together I believe. A very good aftertouch keyboard and additive engine... Too bad I sold it, but it was too big and I needed the €€€ to fund Eurocr... I mean Eurorack 😅

Good video! The Korg seem tempting, but i prefer a compact setup that i can have in my living room next to my computer, and Maschine MK3 + Komplete 11 Ultimate really fits those criteria, and is so much bang for the buck i almost feel like i dont really need anything else (still think im gonna upgrade to K14 collectors edition when it goes on sale though).
