Good stuff, bro! I'm fairly new to Push 3 and Ableton's workflow in general. Much educational, so inspiring, very subscribed.

Would be nice if you shared the project on Github. A few of the steps were edited out, so was unable to follow a few things.

I think bifold compliments low sub/stab bass. Gives some gritty to it - sounds incredible

Quick question: when you enter the 'parameters lock' functionality while on the 'Mix' tab, do you see the return track names like 'Reverb' and 'Delay'? However, when I do it, I only see 'Send A' and 'Send B'. It's not a big deal, but I was wondering if this is something configurable? Because when you have a lot of return tracks, it can get confusing to know which one is which. I have Push 2 updated to the latest firmware version. Thanks so much. It’s an awesome video!

It's not something you can put out and idea quickly. All that time programming would make me forget what I was doing but if you wanted to transfer an idea for live performance from something you have where you can compare, I would use it for that. But Hay that's just me and how I work.

this is so good, thank you for that! I've been looking at how to do pretty much exactly this recently, now I just have to better figure out mimetic digitalis to find how I can do all this in my rack (or just buy one if I don't find a reasonable solution), I just love how minimal this is in both hp and complexity.. it's smart use of modular imo, makes it shine

Hi Ihor, thanks for the video it made me decide go Metropolix way, haha. I am used to doepfer style sequencers, where the pitch knob can go 2 directions, both lower from the root and higher. With Metropolix if sliders all the way down, you can only go up in the octave. Is there any way inverting one or several sliders, or is there another way approaching it ? 🙏

If you are still out there making content, Thank you. I have owned my Subsequent 37 for almost 3 years. This has been extremely helpful in getting the kind of bass sound I was after. Granted got it close and then I am running it through a Kemper to get it the rest of the way to where I wanted it. Again, greatly appreciate the hard work you put in to make this.

Thanks for this video! I like to play hardware dawless. And often record lives from main channel. Sometimes I need an arrangement in ableton and recording separate tracks is cool for this. But all plocks and FXs remain in FX block. So I need to recreate them in ableton or record FX block for each track separately to work with it later. It annoys. But I understand why this works as it works. Song mode in elektron is cool enough. So I can arrange my tracks in elektron then record FX block with routing tracks to FX block one by one and get what I want. Still dont understand if I can play live from Syntakt through ableton using different effects in ableton for different tracks. Need to try this.

Thanks for this great comparison. I'm thinking of buying the Octatrack as my first Elektron Machine. Novation Circuit Tracks and Bass Station II are my only hardware so far, but I've played around with Digitakt and Model:Samples and really like the workflow of those... Would you still consider that relevant today?
