It's the lush greenery in the Pacific Northwest that attracts people from out of state. I spent two months in the Bay Area and the lack of greenness is notorious. of course there are green spaces there,but there are no pine trees at all. Northern California beginning in Redding and Mt Shasta area is where we start to see dense forests with evergreen trees as we head north on the I-5 corridor.

Calaforina is affordable, really!!? Im in NC, and those prices are wild out west!

California is expensive. I said everyone is different. Some may make 50k a year and some make 500k a year. Everyones outlook is different but Portland is the most reasonably priced city on the west coast for now.

@movingtoportlandoregon If I moved out there I could probably make 140-160. Maybe that would be enough.I only make about a hundred in north carolina
