I can read the letters but I don't speak the language, sadly (despite years of learning it at school... Lesson is to pay attention in class!)

@@DavidFrankal Ah, ok. You are not doing what I thought you were. Judging by you let channel, I assumed that you were going to do something transport related. As there are only 2 in the country (Aston and West London) I assumed that you would be there). I would be year below as I am in year 13. I am planning to go to the one at Aston, so I thought there was a chance - but obviously not!

Any plans to reconnecr the Israel-Egypt and Israel-Lebanon Standard gauge links?

Egypt is politically plausible, though such a route would need to cross an enormous distance (the original route ran though Gaza incidentally). Lebanon has no functioning network to connect to, and right now any link across that border is politically about as likely as hell freezing over.
