Exploring Säntis: The Rainiest Mountain・Grand Tour of Switzerland 🇨🇭

Welcome to the 16th episode, where we travel around official photo spots of the Grand Tour of Switzerland. In this episode, we will visit Säntis, the highest mountain of the Alpstein massif. It is the rainiest and snowiest place in Switzerland and one of Europe's most prominent Alps mountains.

Grand Tour of Switzerland is the best alpine road trip in the world, which will take you on a 1600 km long scenic road, from lakes surrounded by palms across amazing mountain passes and glaciers to rustic mountain villages. You will visit the most beautiful places in Switzerland. There are officially 70+ photo spots along the trip, marked with an iconic stand.

Thanks so much for all your comments and kind words, Urška 🥰 Despite seeing Säntis mountain from our village, visiting it took me fifteen years 😀 We stayed there once over the night (see below) and visited it twice in the winter - once for the sunset and once for the starry night. I am considering revisiting it, hopefully again - it's really great. You can stay on the top night in the excellent Berggasthaus Alter Säntis from spring to summer. altersaentis.ch/berggasthaus/

Such a wonderful video, depicting wonderful nature in Switzerland! If i would live anywhere else in the world, only a few countries are on my menu. One of them is definitely Switzerland! The other countries i would consider to live in are Norway, Seychelles, French Polynesia and maybe Botswana and South African republic. I guess i love the mountains, forests, sea, tropic islands and a bit of desert too🙂!

Děkuji moc, Honzo! ✨ 👍🏻 Přestože na ten kopec vidíme od nás už patnáct let, na vrchol jsme se podívali až letošní podzim... Cesta zpět byla asi nejvíc strašidelná cesta lanovkou 😬 Foukal vítr v nárazech přes 100 km za hodinu, a do lanovky museli navést paletu betonu, aby to s námi tak moc nehoupalo 😀 Všechno nejlepší do roku 2024! ✨🍀😀
