Saber really dropping the ball on the 3 new scouts. The tank is worse than most the early game scouts, and there's really no point using these Earthroaming trucks as the radar is much less than the trailer, and they so little repairs its not even good for a maintenance truck. Especially since there's no bed addons...! They could've added a pickup bed with a decent amount of supplies giving us a modern pickup service truck. What a waste

@@AbrahamDakin Map wise I'll disagree with you, but vehicles wise, I definitely agree. I love the new maps where nearly all trucks are useful and not just the huge or OP few are.

@@GrySgtBubba The tank i had to mod it to make it usefull, added a hitch and trailers, better wheels, the net wheels with the orange plastic are big piece of craps. better suspension and better gearbox, now it is a nice rescue vehicle tiny that can go anywhere.

I was going to tell you where the other earth roamer was but in case you don’t want a spoiler it’s on the second map that’s all I’ll say and not just received from driving up. Requires some work.

Oh nice I’ll have to figure that out. I don’t know how much PTS I’ll play. That might have to be a surprise for live release :)

I’m not sure why you remark Earthroamers are not offroad vehicles… they are specifically designed and marketed as more ‘offroad capable’ RVs. They are just as much offroad vehicles as most of the scouts.

I say this because the earthroamers are not vehicles you just go out naturally and offroad with them. The lead developer even said that himself on discord. They are offroad capable campers, but they arent everyday offroad vehicles even though they are very strong in this game as such. He is quoted saying "A camper is a camper, people dont go offroad in such vehicles."

@@NProvince I believe the distinction you and/or the developer is making is splitting hairs. Perhaps you are associating this with the nebulous and often inexplicable "offroad" category in the game, but any vehicle designed to traverse offroad environments could be considered such. To reiterate, the Earthroamers are more geared towards difficult terrain than many, if not most, of the scouts.

I do not deny that they are some of the most capable scouts in the game. I’ve looked over them and tested them. That part is evident. The reality, (SR isn’t reality) is that you would have off-road ability but you wouldn’t be using earthroamers as offroad work trucks in real life like SR. From these testing streams it’s clear that these trucks lack very little if anything and if they do; giving them what they lack would totally make them way stronger than they already are in game

I saw on sdone that there are some paths for narrow trucks where the break away edges are. Yay the big wide op trucks finally can't do something. 😅

Just finished first 30 minutes, but I'm looking forward to watch the rest. Another scouts - hooooray. And farming returns - well, I didn't managed to finish first farming DLC and here's another one. Also I think about Expeditions and Snowrunner next to each other. Honestly I thought that Snowrunner is done, once they announced expeditions and here's season 4 - but without any extra creativity so far 😕 Thx for the content Nate, I really like your videos 🙂

Hey NProvince I need some help please. What are some fuel efficient and fast vehicles for hard mode? I already have the Azovs so I’m in desperate need of something faster that can still do bed, crane, and trailer while still averaging good fuel consumption. If you do see this thank you in advance. 🙏

Step310E with the voin engine is a good pick. I’d switch to crane, low saddle. You’re actually making it harder for your trucks with a hitch trailer. I’ve explained this on other videos, but you want the weight you’re carrying to be on your axles not being dragged behind. Other trucks that are efficient is really a subjective thing especially when you’re asking for speed. Usually faster trucks burn a good bit of fuel. If you could stop by the stream I can break down engine options on trucks to get you where you’d wanna be.

@@NProvince After looking at more of your videos I ended up going with the CAT 681 with crane and semi sideboard trailer. It's rather quick and has nice fuel efficiency for a powerful engine. Once again thanks for the help, will make sure to show up to your streams as well. 🙏

Not sure concerning console. If you have the Year 4 pass bought then it comes with that when it launches to live server

I'd love to explore the new map, but the game is such a mountain of work I couldn't stand having to do anything twice so it would ruin the final experience.
