If you have a large house with high power bills, want induction instead of a gas stove, plan to live in your house for a long time, and want to insure power in weather disasters, solar with storage battery makes sense. It's the disaster possibility that would be the main reason for me.

True. This was a 1000 year event. I feel like a we get a really bad weather event in some form about every 10-15 years 🤷🏻‍♀️
