Exploring Super Doot Sunshine [Kaizo Mario Sunshine Hack] [6/09/24 Stream]

So, I found out about this hack by Warspyking a few days before streaming this. I was immediately excited!
Now, I don't play super-hard ROM hacks that much of Mario games that much anymore, but my intrigue for them has never went away.
I still marvel at hacks like SM74EE and SR2:NoD (and, I know there are much harder hacks nowaways for SM64 too than those, but those were ther prime ones in my time).
So when I found out about this, I knew I had to at least see what it's all about!
The design for open access to levels and the info for missions is an excellect design choice. Props to Warspyking!
And my idea for the converted 120 shine file for exploration worked and was exceedingly beneficial for the purposes of what I was trying to do. :D
I don't think I will ever try to actually play this...but the fact it exists makes me happy and excited all the same! :P

This was a very fun watch! Loved your approach to exploring the hack :) If you do want to beat airstrip, I recommend water sliding to break the barrels. The slabs need to be groundpounded high up - you can jump on the orange block to get a bounce. In order to unlock corona you need to find all the yellow coins in flooded plaza, which you can get back to by talking to the chuckster. This uses it's own flag so unfortunately your 120 save didn't work there.
