Super cool video! All the neon in those streets look hectic even during the day! It must be absolutely crazy at night!

Hi Cory - Just want to say...compared to all your walk-thru videos, this was actually just as interesting. I would think it just depends on where you're planning to venture as to which camera you would use as well as whether or not you'd include the complete journey. For instance, this area was so full of sights and sounds, somehow the way you filmed it worked out just fine. I still had the feeling of being there, vicariously through you...so, in my opinion, random snippets of the walk-thru were interesting and entertaining as well. Thanks for all you do! - Gypsy

Thanks for the video. I always wanted to but never got the chance to traveled to Korea but by watching your videos it makes it seems as I was there. At 7:41 I notice the person in the hospital gown with the IV stand. Is it common in Korea to allow their patients to go outside without being discharged?

Hey Cory, Great video! Id love to walk around Seoul and shoot video like you do. Everything looks so colorful there. A lot more interesting than a lot of US cities. I actually came to your channel because I saw your comment on a walking around Waikiki Hawaii video WAIKIKI , HONOLULU - OAHU / HAWAII , USA - A WALKING TRAVEL TOUR - HD 1080P. I also used to live in Hawaii for a year and what you described is exactly the way it was for me too. Also if you want more steady video check out the Sony pj810 its got the best stabilization I've ever seen. The whole optical block moves independently of the camera body so it works amazingly well. I have the older version and its almost as good as a steady cam. Anyway, subscribed to your chan. Keep up the good work!

Hai Cory i really like all of your video. can you inform us about korean's subway system? so when we're there we'd know where to ride and the destinations.

They rent city bikes there now, like the Citi Bikes in NY City. Ever think of doing a bike ride with a cam? The bike trails are great. You might have already. I'm just getting into your videos now. So if you haven't, it might be interesting. Especially down by the river.

Speaking of Love Motels, you should walk around that area in Sinchon with all the love motels haha. I lived in a goshiwon back there a couple of months ago and it was quite interesting at night.

I am really wondering how Seoul street's, shop's, restaurant's, their little stalls with fruits and vegetables and so on, looks identical to these in Turkey. I am always happy too see the similarities of both countries 😊

Nice video Cory, exactly where is Suyu ? is this towards namdemun or the southern part of Seoul ? I have a odd question for you. when I was there in Yongsan back in 82-83 I noticed the bananas were very expensive. did you ever see that ?
@Cuyt24
@Cuyt24 6 жыл бұрын
SGM Brandon Conover it is northern Seoul. Seoul and Korea was completely different in 1982-1983. It is a first world country now. Bananas are not expensive anymore. They import cheap ones from the Philippines. Thanks

Cory May i love how you now assume I won't get your pop culture references (I didnt btw) but still make them with the intention of slowly educating me. Im keen to learn. Its only at times like this I regret not watching tv since the year 2000.

Hey Cory , Are there job opportunities in Korea ? And what does it require you to gain access to the country besides VISA ? I am Arabian 21 , I speak English very well & i study it in university , but Korean not so much , My girlfriend is very good at it , i'd like to come & visit Korean , and maybe get a job there :)
@madeinkonada
@madeinkonada 10 жыл бұрын
I'm not Cory but I'll still give my two cents. If you are a native speaker you can get a job as an English teacher from abroad. But for non-English teaching jobs, people who are here already will have a much greater chance of getting a position than those who don't. Also someone who speaks Korean would have an edge over someone who doesn't. Also, in order to get a work visa you need a university degree. If you have that, there are a few places where someone like you could eventually find a job. 1. Teaching Arabic (not common but possible) 2. Working with Korean companies who have business in the Middle East (best chance if you speak at least intermediate Korean and you'd have to research and network well) 3. Working for a trade company imports or exports to your region (again Korean skills would be helpful). I always say the best thing to do is come here as a student (either exchange student, university student, or Korean language student) decide whether you like it enough to invest the time and effort into making it work and network a lot. Reach out to communities of Middle Eastern people in Korea and see how they usually do things. Slowly you will find that opportunities will come to you. Anyway those are my thoughts. I think Cory will have some input too :) Good luck!
