i was living in Neihu during my childhood before 10, and just for your info "Neihu" means more than 30 lakes in various sizes way back before 1990s in this suburb district alone. I still remember I went to a few other inner lakes for fishing by using bamboo sticks I took besides the lake and linen hooks with worms I found from the soil nearby for easy fishing techniques since the water was so clear for visibility of fishes in my memory. Today these lakes have disappeared due to vast urbanization of the outer Taipei City, so many scenic places at the foot of the mountain near "Lishan" 麗山 (Mount Beatiful) to 五指山‘’ used to be the boundary for hundred of inner lakes, and many rice farm lands are no more to be found in Neihu except for High Tech Park and new buildings such as AIT. Enjoy Neihu, my hometown.
