Great vlog Roger, highlighting beautiful Alcala. Lovely little town, and as you say, definitely worth exploring outside of the hotel complex, whereever the resort! A lot quieter than the bigger resorts, but that's all to the good! That view when having your meal was fantastic. Roll on the next vlog! 👍

There is an airport in La Gomera but the quick ferries are very practical

Cheers Michael. In a car if you go on the motorway I reckon 20 minutes. On a bus that goes along the coast could up to an hour.

Hi Rog 👋 Love Tenerife so i always watch the videos.. in particular the Tropical Jardin review as it changed our minds after your vlog showed the rooms ro be small and no A/C. Looked beautiful otherwise. Was it value for money in your opinion mate?

Thanks so much. We thought the Jardin was superb and much better VFM than the Gran Meliá we just stayed at. Someone told me that it’s been bought by another hotel chain and that the prices have gone up quite a bit. 🤔
