@@MattWhitingsEurope thank you Matt, I am always thinking to move to Joensuu but now these days I need some other home here in Helsinki , hard to move in this kind of cold weather, looking forward next spring might move then to Joensuu..all is open now in my mind ,, will see how I managed to find fast other home now, but hope I will find it , thanks ☕️☕️🍰🍰😀❤️

Hi Matt, thanks for visiting my hometown! By the way, about the parking, it's fully free on Sunday everywhere (the tow truck doesn't work), on Saturday it's free after 2pm while on working days it's free after 9pm. You can find a lot of totally free parking away from the main streets, and see where the locals park. While you are in this region, maybe it's a good idea to climb up Suva Gora Mountain near the village of Gurgurnica. It's a great viewpoint from the other side of Kozjak Lake (you visited from the side of Skopje). You just need to drive south from your hotel on the Tetovo-Volkovija regional road and through the village of Stenche you can climb up the mountain, the road is nicer than the one to the Tetovo fortress, and you can visit 2000 years old Macedonian early Christian basilica in the hills just above Stenche (the place is called Graishte by the locals). There are many beautiful restaurants like the fish restaurant and mini zoo Delfin on the road after Volkovija going to Chegrane, natural beauties, and old monasteries in the region. My other recommendations will be the Leshok Monastery, Belovishte Waterfalls, Kamenjanje Waterfalls, Vratnica Lake, the Popova Shapka ski center, and if you like to hike there are tons of places on Shar Planina that are worth visiting, although the weather is getting colder so it might not be a good idea to go too high

Thank you for the tips on parking, very useful - it was great to visit Tetovo and take a walk around, both in the fortress area where I filmed those stunning views and inside the city itself. Thanks also for the suggestions of other places to visit, some of them I had already heard of but others I had not - they all sound intriguing! The hike up Suva Gora Mountain would be tough but an enjoyable experience I think. Unfortunately I won't be able to visit them on this trip since I already have plans but I'm sure I'll be back at some point and have made notes on my map. Thanks again, much appreciated. 👍

Nice video from you ,Tetovo was once very nice city but now nobody is doing anything to save the history of this old city ,you also can visit Popova Sapka its not so far away from Tetovo :)

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! I certainly enjoyed stopping by and taking a walk around. Shame to hear that the history isn't being preserved, I hope that changes in the not too distant future. I actually had Popova Sapka on my list of places to visit but ran low on time and didn't make it. Next time for sure!

And yes, the Mosque in the city was unique and very colourful - everyone was really friendly too. All the best.

Interesting animal 💩 museum. Those frescos 😻 Those kids had some nice wheels. Paparazzi follows you everywhere! Don't cover the mosaic!

Please, say only *Macedonia.* North *#Macedonia* is the only state in the world that has the name *Macedonia* in its own state name. There is no other country that has the name *Macedonia* in its own name.

Sorry but could not but react to the title you have - Tetovo WAS real Macedonia, now it is NOT real Macedonia, it is more like muslim Albania. Go to east Macedonia cities/ villages, or to Bitola, Ohrid etc. to see real Macedonia (what is left of it). Greetings
