This home was built with someone’s heart and soul. The pink and green may seem dated but the stone and wood are amazing. And the logs make me want to cry. My husband has a friend who builds those staircases. It’s a very specialized craft. Not crazy about the bathrooms but to each his own. I am usually very realistic about these homes but I really, really wish someone could restore this one. Thanks for sharing ❤️
@jadesmom58645 жыл бұрын
Undoubtedly my favorite dream home of all times! That place has such good bones (foundation & structure) it would definitely be worth refurbishing. The only reason why there is mold in the cold (wine) cellar is because they are never suppose to be painted or have wood in them. Holds moisture instead of the air circulating. Plus it wasn’t vented to the outside or a proper seal on the door. Easy fix with a sand blaster. Roof would need to be redone. All fireplaces need their flue and chimneys cleaned. Then cosmetics replacing broken windows, missing wood rails, wood door frames, moulding, appliances, paint, carpet and cleaned. I’d put a man made pond out in the backyard. About $150,000 worth to restore. This was so exciting I’m going to go back and watch your video again! Great find! 👍👍👍

Awesome explore. It actually made me feel sad inside seeing such a magnificent structure slowly waste away. It needs a lot of TLC but it could be restored. I was amazed that the last bathroom you checked the mirrors and windows seem to be untouched by the vandals. Although I would not feel comfortable living in such a huge home, it really is beautiful. Good job of documenting the beauty in your video. Thumbs up!

@ There you go, thought as much. If you have a foundation, you can get a fixer upper loan in the USA for a house, am doing such. If you could get a group of people to go into the payment of the place, maybe like a time share even, a group of people could split the taxes. How many in here want to have a go? If I was younger, I would try something. A group of people would be the best thing. Sometime that is how you get something. IF there is a will, there is a way. Really the gov. should allow people to live in the house until it gets sold. Could be they send people around once a year to make sure no one has moved in to it.

Perfect for private weddings/receptions, business/mergers, anniversaries which would cater the events, and include rooms for the guest. Maid service, and breakfast. Lost count of the amount of bedrooms. The metal spiral stairs, beautiful as the are, would have to be replaced with the wooden ones already there. For safety reasons. More bedrooms needed. The place has a lot of potential, the interior/design would have to be changed. Still beautiful, private, secluded and with a nice view. It needs a lake. Thank for the video sir.

It always make me mad to see such a gorgeous home destroyed by kids. That AGA stove is approximately $20,000.00, it has a simmering & boiling plates, dual fuel, and slumber mode. They are amazing! The cobble stone walkways are pretty sweet also, not to mention the huge master suite, and kitchen! I bet it was very hard to keep warm in the winter, with all those high ceilings, but if you can afford a home like that, I guess heating it wouldn't be an issue.
