Like I said before my Dad lived in Scotland. He passed away April 2017. He was my everything. We used to go visit as often as we could and he would plan so much for us to do! Lol. He loved loch ness! He was also an ex navy man. He lived in Invergordon where all of the big boats and cruise liners would come in and we had many pictures of these as soon as they came in. He could actually see them from his kitchen window! We live in Norfolk so we would get the train to Inverness when going to see them and they would pick us up and we would drive the last leg to their home in Invergordon. When you said you were in Inverness the tears built up,. Happy tears. The memories that I’ve found hard to remember and feel. This is going to be a journey for me of memories and healing and releasing. The names of all of the places hit home. I can picture him saying them all. He loved the water. Life has a way of moving you forward doesn’t it. Everything happens for a reason. Much love to you both. 🙏🏼💕xx

I went to the highlands when I was a lad and I've never forgotten the beauty of Scotland (I've had a few businesses trips to Glasgow in the years since). I am really looking forward to finally someone tracking down Nessie and I have every faith in you both. Oh lads…..the sadness at the departure of Silver Fox is tangible…..but you know, there is also an excitement for the future too. Personally, if you don’t mind me saying, I think grieving for the loss of SF is only natural. It was, and will always remain a very special part of your lives, and when you’re back on the U.K. canals, if you meet up with her again, I dare say there’s be a lump in the throat. But you’re taking us with you….all us broken people who, like Colin, have a harder time of life than most people. You, Colin, have Shaun, and I have my lovely wife Ruth. They both do the same for us and are always there with a hug or just know when to leave us alone. If ever you lads feel like a couple of weeks down by the Sussex Seaside, you’re be most welcome. I think it would be a privilege to meet you, and thanks again for taking us onwards when you could so easily just have called it a day.

My late wife and I did the Caledonia canal back in the 1990's....We absolutely loved it. Skinny dipping in Loch Ness too. Didn't see Nessy though!!

Really looking forward to you Gents doing this trip. A few years ago I and a few others kayaked from the first locks at Inverness to the last locks at Fort William. Was an amazing trip,camping at night , the first night was spent on a small patch of land just below the castle ruins on the hill to the side of Loch Ness. The next morning was so gusty, was a killer heading over to Fort Augustus. Have a safe trip Gents & Otis of course 🐕‍🦺👍👍

Gentlemen, thank you as always. When we did the Rideau canal in Canada we met many folks chartering from Le Boat. We were on a far more humble craft but had a great time. Spent a few days out side of Ft William. One of my favorite movies was filmed not far from Ft William. Local Hero, the movie is one that brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. Can't wait to see more.
