Enjoyed your video very much but please don't put your hands on the ruins, pictographs or petroglyphs, it does impact them.

You are right, and thank you for your kindness in your comment. I took care not to touch the petroglyphs, but the Moon House ruins confused me a bit because it’s ok to climb into the dwelling behind the outer wall, and it’s impossible to do so without touching the ruins. BLM had signs outside all the rooms telling people not to enter those. Do you know what the etiquette would have been preferably? I will admit this is all really new to me and I’m completely enamored, but I want to do my best to learn and be better 😊

Eewww that's a tough one, if the BLM says it's OK, let your conscience be your guide. The painting inside was pretty amazing, thank you for showing that. The outside walls are pretty delicate and most know not to touch them and I know how hard it is not to, finding these places is very spiritual, I remember finding my first petroglyph. Three bighorns at Fossil Falls.

@@robfizzle3091spiritual is right. I felt silenced in reverence. Even shed a tear or two. I’ll have to look up three big horns! Thank you for your kindness 😊

You’re right! I was just about to update my mistake but you beat me to it :) kivas are the ceremonial meeting rooms, granaries are food storage. Sadly we did not see the kiva at this site, but tons of granaries. I’m still amazed at how people lived perched on this cliff side!
