Your videos bring me so much peace, thanks for taking us along with you! Oh, my goodness, a cat cafe--I would love to have gone there as I adore cats. I know I have said it before, but your daughter is just the sweetest little thing. I hope you have a beautiful week! 💗

One more time, thank you so much, there is a lot of harmony and delicacy on your pictures. Wonderful, your are an artist, the pictures make me feel melancholic, nostalgic… you have chosen an excellent music and of course the area is lovely. Take care, bye 🌸😘

Another delightful village. Heidi found her pur-fect spot! That one kitty seemed to really enjoy those belly rubs! So sweet! ❤

This video is satisfying in so many ways. The mesmerising historic village of Le Bec-Hellouin where people live leaving no signs of modernity. the landscape and spring flowers. Finally the fascinating stories about King Richard the Lionheart and his connection to Chateau Gaillard.

A village, as if only a movie set, but I suppose that’s a true inspiration for some historic film. You’re video is beautifully created! I may try a watercolor of one scene that you perfectly captured.

There are many such villages in France 🥰 Some you can see straight out of a Disney movie! Ooh that would be lovely, please share so we can see if you do paint a watercolour 😍

Loved seeing the contentment on Heidi's face at the cat cafe. It's so strange. Sometimes Americans build what are supposed to look like half-timbered houses and I always disliked them when I was young. But I find the real thing quite beautiful and extraordinary now. (I probably still don't like the fake American ones lol.)

What an amazingly quiet and peaceful place. Where are all the people of the village?! What time was this filmed? It's also so nice that you always explain the history of the place. Very informative. And the three of you are so happy exploring. Lovely!❤

It was so lovely there 🥰 this was mid afternoon and there were plenty of people about but I always try and film when there’s not as many people in as there are many who wouldn’t want their face plastered on the internet so I try and avoid as much as possible. Also, that’s one thing I love about France, it’s much muchhh quieter than England ☺️ Thank you, I’m always one for wanting to learn about the places I visit so I’m glad others enjoy it too! Have a great week ahead 🧡🍂

@theslowtravelsfamily hi there! Thank you for responding. I visited France just before COVID struck. And we had to cut short our stay. I would love to go back sometime. As always, I'm looking forward to "couch travelling" with you and your family😃 Have a good one ! Bye!!

8:28 from here on is some life! I found the beautiful village kind of depressing without people or animals. Could be holiday homes. Greetings from Canada
@theslowtravelsfamily7 ай бұрын
Well the first part of the video in Le Bec-Hellouin it was about 5:30-6am in the morning so the village was still asleep 😊 I saw some people up and about, starting their day but it was still far too early for most to be out and about so that’s why the village was ‘without people’. One thing I like about France is that there aren’t a horde of holiday homes. The towns and villages are very much communities still 🥰 have a great week!

@@theslowtravelsfamily Thank you. I realize it was early in the morning but I'm used to German villages where farmers get up very early, you also see dog walkers and joggers and other early birds, same here in Canada. The French know how to enjoy life to the fullest, even farmers! The LORD bless you and your family 👋
