Smoke on the water, good choice, my friend Chris owns that and cooks marvelous meals. In the summer I often stay over on my boat next to the float House, and get whatever Chris recommends for dinner.

I grew up in Powell River. I camped at Inland Lake a few times before there was a campsite and trail system. I knew the guy that started that Mexican restaurant, his mom is an excellent Mexican food cook.

The drive from Powell River to Gibsons is only 2.5 hours, so you can see it all in one day, really. I don't think I would take more than 2 days next time. So you can do a bit of both!
