CHALLENGE: Count how many times we said the word “beautiful” in this video 🤣 The Sunshine Coast is truly SO BEAUTIFUL! If you’ve been before, leave other recommendations below👇

The one really nice thing about most of the beaches on the coast is that they all face West towards the Island, so you always get great views of the sunset.

Definitely a hops plant!! It's part of the farm they have at Persephone. And the art is Robert's Creek is the mandala, and every summer it gets taken off and repainted by the community :)

Oh that’s so cool!! Didn’t know it gets repainted every year… what a beautiful piece of art!

Thanks for travelling the Sunshine Coast, so glad you enjoyed it. I live on the Sechelt Inlet and couldn’t agree with you more. I get to wake up to mountain views and a few minute walk to the trails. I absolutely love living here. Filled with amazing beauty that I never get tired of and wonderful people. Safe travels.

I love BC. Did not get to see or experience enough when I was there for a friend's wedding in August. I completely understand the constantly being amazed by our countries beauty. I have now driven from west to east and all over Ontario this summer and I just can't get over how stunning it all is. It's a never ending discovery of amazing.

Hi Eric & Sarah. Absolutely loved your video. We've live on the Coast for 42 years now, and for the last 7 years in Sechelt. We are 15 minutes walking distance from the Lighthouse pub, and have a view from our house from both the Sechelt Inlet and the Georgia Strait. Our favourite place for fish and chips though is Sharkey's Fish Locker in Roberts Creek, just across the highway form the pier. We get them and eat them on the beach. Heaven !.The ferry ride to Powell River is my favourite, and the drive to the town is great. We always park and let the traffic go by and the drive then is much more enjoyable. I'm happy you had such an enjoyable stay, your's is the best video of the Coast I've seen so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos.

Morning, found the video of your "We Bought A Van" and the short tour, you asked for help but now a few moths later it looks like you did all right. You did the most common mod to the shower, turn it into a storage area, the fridge gone and a cooler instead, Saw the part where you resealed the windows, good job, you kept the cabinets, I was going to suggest that too. Did you replace the old propane tank with a new one, if not, plan on doing it as soon as financially possible, those old tanks can let go at any time. the next thing you might want is an awning, let me suggest the MoonShade, google it. It's about the only one that really works because there's not weight added to the upper shell of the van. Then maybe a Lithium battery upgrade, research it, then convert all the interior lamps to LED softlight bulbs, pack of 15 for less than $20 on amazon. Don't bother with solar, your roof won't handle the weight over time. I'm planning on touring the west coast of Canada next year all the way to Alaska, maybe we'll meet.

Best video yet. I haven't had the chance to explore BC but it is number one on my Canadian travel bucket list. The Mountains and water at the beginning of the video reminded me of my travels in New Zealand. Canada is so beautiful! Cheers from Northern Ontario.

Amazing! Not sure if this is an option but maybe split up some of the videos of different areas/adventures and capture more of your experiences because I actually wanted more of your kayaking, ocean life, hiking and overnighting experience. This will also allow you to save videos for a later date to keep content on a weekly basis if you need downtime, or if God for bid someone gets sick.

Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate hearing what interests you! We did originally discuss making this into a two part video… but unfortunately our Canada videos haven’t interested the majority of our audience so we don’t want to drag on the series too long. But it’s good to know what you like to watch! :)

You guys are giving my island vibes. I'm headed to Victoria and Campbell River in June. I'm looking forward to vacation/adventure. Thanks for taking the internet on the adventure with you. We all appreciate it. I used to watch Danger Bay. It was my favorite show. Well it was third. First was the Ateam then thunder cats. I've always wanted to go over to the sunshine coast. An after thought, why is the AC unit still there? You don't have a generator so the only time it can be used is when you're connected to shore power, Personally I would remove it and install a MaxFan, two reasons, first it removes a hundred plus pounds from the highest point on the house which will cut down on the side-roll in corners or turning, and two, the MaxFan will provide great air circulation. The conversion to a lithium house battery would be the best upgrade for that van. Sorry, I guess I already mentioned that,,,, Now lets work on an idea to fix that upper right front window, cracked plexiglass and black tape,,,,,, I don't think you'll ever find a direct fit replacement for it, One fix would be to remove the tape and clean it real well then use a bead of superglue to seal the crack and stop it from cracking further,,,,,,,,,, Another idea would be to remove the tape and get creative with art, maybe a giant closed eye and the left side be the open eye,,,,, Well anyway, it's great to see a couple work so well together,,,,, not sure what's been edited out, but you look happy and that counts.

Not everything here is so beautiful. We have a massive homeless problem nobody is doing anything about. We have one freakin road....one....we had another one being built in the 80's but they stopped and never resumed. We have the worst part of the housing crisis going on here and the region is completely dominated by extremely rich older folks making many areas here hostile to families with children. Oh did I mention that after you get sick of hippie art winding trails and BS bohemian shops there isn't much else here, and what is here is priced to make maximum dollars off of tourists....nothing is affordable here and we have no big box stores or even much to do at night. I doubt Ill spend the rest of my days here.
@EricandSarah2 жыл бұрын
We understand that every place has issues… but it doesn’t mean that the nature isn’t beautiful! We spoke nothing about what it’s actually like to live there so our perspective is simply that it’s a beautiful place to visit (which it is). Hope you get a chance to move elsewhere if you dislike it so much.

You forgot to mention what a disaster the ferry service is! Especially during the months of the year the Coast is flooded with tourists and locals are stuck.
