I spent 14 months in Beijing working on Jurassic World Adventure. It’s an amazing ride. I consider myself so fortunate to have been involved in that project. There’s honestly nothing like it.

This attraction needs to get shut down for a year and get a massive refurb. Not change it like they did in California, but given an absolute massive refurb. And then if they could swing it on the anniversary of the ride opening do a grand reopening. Thanks for the video.

One hundred percent. It can't even follow a proper story anymore because the key animatronic doesn't pop-up and work anymore. I still ride and love it but it is not the ride it was meant to be anymore.

Went all the way back to Florida from the UK in 2022, this specific attraction being my number 1 choice from previous trips. I was at Universal for about a week. I rode it once. The condition of it was so poor it pissed me right off. Even sent universal a complaint that same holiday.

JP The Ride changed my life forever in the sense that it made me fall in love with the velociraptor. Prior to this, I pretty much only cared about t-rex and viewed raptors as runts, partly due to the baby Godzillas in the '98 movie. When I finally went to USH when I was 8 going on 9, I was still at that age where haunted houses and other such attractions were very real to me. Needless to say, the JP ride scared the hell outta me. What really lingered in my mind was how absolutely menacing and all-around terrifying the raptors were in-person. For the first time ever, it clicked in my brain that a human-sized dinosaur could be scarier than the big ones. The subsequent effect in my psyche can best be summed up by the immortal words of Jack Nicholson: "the more you scare them, the more they love you."

Jurassic Park River Adventure is my favorite outdoor ride (non coaster) of all time. Been obsessed since I first rode in 2003

I still remember the first time I went on the California version, seeing that T rex at the end was one of the most amazing animatronic experiences I have ever had 🎉

I was prepared to hate the Jurassic World refurb in Hollywood, but it kinda won me over. Watching Blue walk out and then seeing the Indominous Rex walk toward boat is pretty awesome.

Great video! I rode the Orlando version a few weeks ago, the animatronics are very stiff and in pretty bad shape but I’m just grateful it’s still Jurassic Park themed.

Fun Fact: during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal studios Hollywood, this ride is rethemed as "Jurassic Park in the Dark" featuring "Welcome to the jungle" by Guns and Roses during the final drop scene

As kids, my brother and I would go on Jurassic Park the Ride, get wet, run over to Backdraft to get dry, then go back on Jurassic Park the Ride

I hate water rides and scary things. So growing up in the 90's, I rode it the chance I got. I loved the first movie, and I still have to ride it every time I go to the Hollywood version. My wife loves it.

Just wanted to come on here & say that I’ve been following your content since 2016 when you used to go over HHN content. Although I miss that content, I can gladly say that this new content you’re putting out is just as exciting to watch and I’m always looking forward to new uploads 💯

I attended Jurassic Park, the ride in Osaka, Japan 2023 and I was very impressed with it. For one it's called Jurassic Park The ride and not the River Adventure like Orlando, Florida. Secondly, the robotics all worked very well considering how old the ride is. Though strangely they play The Mummy theme when you're going up the industrial building ramp LOL

I would love to go on the Jurassic Park ride, but I’ve been told they’re not in the best condition and could do with a touch-up. I can only imagine it’s a very magical kind of ride that emulates the classic 1993 film, which I’d prefer to see rather than Jurassic World as much as I did enjoy it.

_Very_ good (👍👍)! I unfortunately never got to experience the original Hollywood iteration of this attraction (😔), but I _do_ want to experience the "Jurassic World" iteration it's been revamped into someday, and the 'Park' themed ride at IOA (even though its effects and animatronics are _far_ from being in the best shape).

i never verified this but we went to universal hollywood the week it opened and it was closed for a while when we tried to get a second ride. we heard someone say that it shut down because an animatronic sprayed hydraulic fluid on guests.

I think Jurassic World: The Ride ruined the ride narrative. Jurassic Park had a simple but effective narrative of a tranquil trip through a Cretaceous lagoon facade followed by a terrifying escape through the industrial reality just beneath the surface. Dinosaurs were in a time they didn’t belong in and chaos followed. Jurassic World starts you in a blatantly artificial tank where you get put in danger to begin with, tries to put you in peaceful mode for too short a time, then plops you in the jungle facade with way too much happening at the end. It’s not a bad ride, the I-Rex animatronic is super impressive and you can have fun, but it is worse. I also miss the John Williams score for the whole ride.
