Hello, hello. My husband and I took that tour at the museum. I am 78 and he is 80. So you know it was the sound track of our life. They didn’t allow us to take pictures. Did you have to get special permission to do so? It looks the same as I remember, but I thought it had been renovated a year or so ago, and it was actually closed during that time. I understand the goose pumps because my husband actually cried as we stood in the recording studio. Thanks for taking us back there again.

I visited Hitsville years ago and it was really cool being in the same space as the makers to the soundtrack of my childhood. I would also like to recommend Paisley Park in Minnesota. That tour is amazing. Glad you enjoyed Detroit.

I've done that tour and was just as surprised as you were. It was 20 yrs ago, I had been doing some project work in Dearborn around the 4th of July, so my wife came up for an impromptu long weekend. In a fortunate coincidence, we also caught Erykah Badu live at the Masonic Temple. Good times!

Great video, i would love to visit Hitsville in Detroit, but i am in England and there is a large ocean to cross but i will book a flight to get to Motown, i have visited the Beatles Museum and the Cavern Club in Liverpool, (only 68 miles away) and Motown is a must visit for me, when people ask what is the best live show you have seen ?, one answer the Four Tops in Southport, Northern England back in the mid 70s.
