The Gospel explained through scripture only Acts 13:38-39KJB 38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Romans 1:18-20KJB 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:32KJB 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. Romans 2:5KJB 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Romans 2:16KJB 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Romans 3:10-12KJB 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Romans 3:19-26KJB 19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Romans 4:5KJB 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 5:1-2KJB 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:8-11KJB 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4KJB 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

@@aquapointbeshoy2736 I would agree with you on your statement but the Bible does give us passages where it is right in God’s eyes to pray for one another here AND in Heaven. For example Rev. 5:8 we have souls of men praying to Jesus in behalf of the saints: “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, WHICH ARE THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS.” We are all part of God’s family and He wants all of us to participate in His Kingdom and to do so is to pray for each other to God and as James says: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Those who are in front of the throne of God are definitely “righteous” and their prayers do avail very much so! And as for Mary, there is a Psalm that foreshadows God’s will for her: Psalms 45:9-17 (references and thoughts in parenthesis) “Kings' daughters were among thy HONORABLE women: upon thy right hand did stand the QUEEN (Rev. 12) in gold of Ophir. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the KING GREATLY DESIRE THY BEAUTY: for HE IS THY LORD; and worship thou him (only). And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift(Lk. 1:28); even the rich among the people shall ENTREAT THY FAVOUR (intercession). The king's daughter is all GLORIOUS WITHIN: her clothing is of wrought gold. SHE shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace (heaven). Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children (mother of the christians) whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I WILL make THY NAME to be REMEMBERED IN ALL GENERATIONS (Lk. 1:48) therefore shall the people PRAISE THEE FOR EVER AND EVER.” God bless!!

@@atgred Evangelical puritans believed any representation of the world was potentially idolatrous, as was religious music, or indeed dancing and joy of any kind. This mindset lead to the destruction of an estimated 95% of indigenous English art in the reformation. (Literalism also lead to modern art and reductionist materialism, but that's another story). This wilful misunderstanding of the difference between the thing itself and representations of it, allows protestants to claim Catholics "worship idols". The Orthodox churches maintained an iconographic relationship with religious figures, showing them as archetypes but lacking specificity. In the western church the depiction is culturally determined, ranging from the flayed Christ, to abstractions and symbols. The desire to embody the sacred is a natural one, and like the potency of "cheap music" (Noel Coward) it's failures as art do nothing to diminish its sincerity or effect.

The mother son worship originated in ancient Babylon, Semiramis and Tammuz. This ancient pagan religion spread to Egypt, Greece, Israel, and to Rome, all over the world. Constantine in 325 AD made Christianity the state religion the pagan religion of the Romans and the Christianity got mixed together. Hence this is why Catholics worship Mary Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

When the pregnant Mary meets her cousin Elizabeth, Elizabeth greets her by saying, LUKE 1:43 “And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” The phrase by Elizabeth is referring to the Old Testament scripture where King David asks, 2 SAMUEL 6:9 “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?” This would be understood by any Jew at the time and was understood by those in the early church. As you look closer into both passages the similarities increase. When the Ark of the Covenant is brought before David, the scriptures declare, 2 SAMUEL 6:14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might. And David was wearing a linen ephod. And what happens when Mary is brought before Elizabeth? LUKE 1:41-42 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! The baby in the womb of Elizabeth was John the Baptist and like the priestly ephod that David wears, John the Baptist is in the priestly line of Aaron. When brought before the Ark, David dances. When the new Ark is brought before John, he leaps for joy. The greek word for “spoke out” is a rare one, only used once in the New Testament and twice in the Old Testament(1 Chr 15:28, 1 Chr 16:4 ). Those two Old Testament scriptures center around the Ark of the Covenant. Then according to scripture, the Ark remained for three months. 2 SAMUEL 6:11 And the ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and all his household. We see that Mary also remained for three months. LUKE 1:56 And Mary remained with her about three months and returned to her home. According to Luke, God would “overshadow” Mary. And the angel answered her, LUKE 1:35 “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy-the Son of God. This is the same language used to describe when God would “overshadow” the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 40:34). It is clear when compiling all these scriptures, that Luke is describing Mary as the Ark of the Covenant. This has been the teaching of the Apostles and the early church since its beginning.

Alex Nope. It’s not in Scripture. Virgin birth is prophesied. But this perpetual virgin stuff is not. This is a pagan idolatrous Roman invention. Matthew clearly says that Miryam had children after Yahusha. Meaning after she gave birth (which was miraculous because of many reasons, especially because of atonement purposes), she then had sex and had additional children. It says Yahusha had brothers and sisters.

@@pm5206 you are sadly mistaken.. IF all doctrines and dogma must come from scripture (which they don't have to, and scripture doesn't say it should either) .. you still have a problem of interpretation. Scripture is perfect and true but only when read in it's respective and correct context which cannot be found in the scripture by itself.. but even just using scripture alone to figure this out, we can't know for sure one way or the other based on what we get from scripture. Jesus' brothers and sisters could obviously mean cousins, friends, etc.. jesus as the first born son does NOT mean there has to be a second or a third, and when it is written that she was a virgin UNTIL the birth of Christ or that joseph knew not mary UNTIL Christ, this still does not imply that afterwards they had any sexual relations for sure. It is only speaking on behalf of the time before Christ. (And as a personal note, joseph would probably know these things about mary and how holy she was and he probably knew that she was set apart for God in a very special way.). Mary as the ark of the new covenant is one interpretation that when only using scripture, cannot be fully proved or denied. But, when looking at all of the evidence laid out and when taking on the advice from scholars of thousands of years and Christian experts, for my money, I would go with Mary being the Ark of the New Covenant, the tabernacle in which the manna traveled through the desert in her womb, the place and source of milk for the bread of God, and the lamb of God would be born into, and brought to bethlehem, the house of bread. Mary is the mother of God. Mary sucked God. Mary prepared soup for God. Mary raised God into this world through the grace of the Holy Spirit. Mary's role is HUGE and we will have to answer to Christ for downplaying His mother, or as we see on the cross when he gives her up (which he also wouldn't have done if he had brothers and sisters), we see that she is OUR MOTHER. AVE MARIA. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Grant us peace. I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

We need men and women and we need masculine and feminine qualities in each person, and for them to be proportionally balanced, regardless of gender. We just don't need the evil from them (or from other sources outside of them) that creates unnecessary suffering and also we have to be careful how we define and identify such evil in case we get it wrong.

The traits that are associated with either masculine and feminine shouldn’t thought of as disconnected from the ACTUAL gender of the individual it’s always totally subject to that. To the point where I think we should just stop gendering traits at all.

It baffles my mind that certain streams of Christianity can’t understand Mary as Perpetual Virgin unless she is literally a virgin for life and never has sexual relations with her husband, which wouldn’t even really be a marriage if that were the case, for a marriage has to have sexual consummation for it to be a fulfilled marriage. And biblical/historical evidence tells us that Mary and Joseph were indeed married. Mary is Perpetual Virgin because she gives birth to the Eternal Christ as once a virgin, and so, therefore, that is forever her identity. It’s that simple. We don’t need to overcomplicate with intellectual suicide.

Jesus saved mankind. Did he save His Mother too? If so, then Mary was born with sin like the rest of us. She is the blessed virgin. But I feel to go any further than that would be idolatry. As someone who wasn’t born in orthodox or catholic tradition, thats my stance. And most protestant stances. Again, it’s not out of any ill will, it’s fear of the Lord. To fear the lord is the beginning of wisdom.

every ancient church teaches the same thing about Mary. Catholic, Greek/Russian Orthodox, Coptic, Ethiopian Orthodox, Syrian...etc. It's only protestant churches that teach Mary was a sinner. If you want a man made idea, that should give you an idea about which 'side' of this issue has the truth and which made shit up like 1500 years later.

The Bible was written in another language the word virginity can also be translated as purity or without sin. If you're pregnant without sin it would stand to reason that the father died. Therefore making jesus a child of God. If you look at the lords prayer in that context you can see the wisdom of a step farther who wanted his child to remain in contact with his father after death.

Typology is the correlation between the old and new testament. That's where the word woman came from way back in Genesis. Mary is the new ark of the covenant, she is the new Eve, etc etc. Scott Hahn explains the connections of typology beautifully. We wouldn't have Jesus if it wasn't for Mary his mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, Holy mother of God. She deserves every title and every honor she receives in the Catholic Church.
@pm52063 жыл бұрын
capecodder04 No it’s not. So called typology out of context on purpose to deceives. The Hebrew Scriptures never teaches such nonsense. I might as well say the stars are a typology of your personality and part of you and you can worship them. Now that’s astrology and idolatry. Miryam was simply used for the Moat High’s purpose. She was NOT used to be worshipped, since she did have children after Yahusha. Also, nowhere in the NT did anyone make her an idol. No, Yahusha himself said to worship the Father only. In my primitive understanding of the human mind a man is but 51% male dna and 49% female. Women are also 51% female dna and 49% male. The Protestant Reformation was a holocaust of art in many parts of Europe. The radical views of Calvin, Zwingli and others saw public religious images of any sort as idolatry, and art was systematically destroyed in areas where their followers held sway. Catholic art has played a leading role in the history and development of Western art, classical music, architecture, etc. led by the greatest artist in history Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Williams, etc. The Protestant Reformation in the 16th century produced waves of image-destruction. By the grace of God these priceless masterpieces survives in the Louvre museum in Paris, the Vatican, Museo del Prado museum, etc. - Religious art and images are a homage to God, just as a grand and a beautiful Cathedral is made for God. All the earth kings treasures and palaces pale in comparison with these masterpieces all for the glory of God. - "Catholic churches are not lecture halls"

This bring to my mind a question about Jesus and lucifer. Are they not mirror images of the same person? They are both fully enlightened, the possessor of all knowledge. Jesus is a Shepard who shares only what his flock needs to be happy and good. Lucifer (the light bringer) burdens people with all knowledge and causes them to suffer with the knowledge of evil. He created sin by mentioning that it existed and doomed mankind to free will. Before he imparted this knowledge we could do no wrong because we knew no wrong. To me it's a parable that boils down to ignorance is bliss and if you care for people be careful what you share for them. Would you tell your child the building is on fire and we are going to die if we don't leave now? Or tell them hey bud we gotta go come on and let them calmly follow you to safety? Sure in scenario A they've been armed with information that could save a person. That information is also liable to panic them and cause their death. So do you take the burden of their safety onto yourself, or do you burden them with it? That's the difference between Jesus and Satan as far as I can see it. What do you think?

You are missing the point of the virgin birth. Because of Adam's sin (believing satan's lies), they got separated from God, lost their sonship and position to rule, the beginning of death... Everybody born in Adam's lineage are born in his fallen state, in sin, in other words born in satan's bondage. Because of that, nobody could escape from this bondage. Jesus's virgin birth meant he was born not of Adam's lineage, therefore not born in sin yet represents fallen man because of his flesh body. This allowed the Spirit of God to reside in him, fully man (flesh) and fully God. When Jesus died without sin, he reversed satan's claim on all of mankind. God says the reward for sin is death (if you eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil you will surely die). First Adam died because of sin, last Adam restored what Adam has lost the moment he died without sin...

Mary is not and was not a cosmic entity. She is not God. She has not existed (and did not exist) before time. She wasn’t the product of a virgin birth. She wasn’t sinless. She needed a savior. “And Mary said, ‘...my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.’” Is she important to our salvation? Beyond doubt. Was she divine? No. And that’s the true miracle. God works with sinners to do his will.

She was not living in sin. She was blameless. Noach was not living in sin. The Moshaich said he did not come for the righteous. Which implies you can be righteous. I don't find anything errant about the label "prude" What I believe happens in, let's say a sexual marketplace, is that in order to participate with the opposite gender you must demonstrate an astute awareness of the dance You are not attracted to a singular being; relational structures are not so trivial as to be considered obvious. You are attracted to virtual manifestations- possibilities, which bear a certain multiplicity in a woman She is emotion and affection and expectation and communion and communication. If you are not those things while not having provisional capacity to accommodate them, you're out of luck This is the Medusa that Jordan was alluding to, you are attracted to beauty instantaneously, but in the face of such beauty your grasp on her may be fleeting because of who _you_ are So on the one had, Pageu describes a supposition that virginal quality is private, but on the other Jordan expresses the conditional agency of attraction, which has social implications and constraints. To have some awareness of the inner workings of relationships on an intuitive level just means that you are conscientious about virtue and its importance among cultures
