My ansestors didn’t have to go to school until they were 25 in order to get a minimum wage job. Pay me to have kids or screw yourselves, why should I help birth the next poor working class? I like JP and I followed his philosophical journey for years now, but I don't seem to ever get why he can't answer this question. It's obivious what they mean. It's exactly what the question says, "is there a celestial entity that watches over us and writes down our deeds?" I don't get why he can't give straight answer to that, it's a yes or no. In that raw form, it is on par with "Do you believe in dragons?" Sure, you could have different interpretation of God, but the question of existence of God should be a clear cut of yes or no. There where I part ways with him, as it starts to delve into metaphysical realms that he refrains to confirm neither deny, which complicates the whole discussion, and it makes everything more vague than clearer.
