It seems like 'iconic' is a word that each episode in Season 4 of the Office has been described as. Michael's commercial embodies Michael Scott. Making a local ad is exactly the type of premise this show works so well on. Yet somehow at the end of the day, in spite of failure, the end of this episode is full of hope!

Always had a soft spot for this one. Michael being actually sharp and a good leader to a point is a good look for him. Andy's bit is a riot and I like Daryl being slowly added to more episodes. And the creative vision scene is one of my favorite deleted scenes. The "Oh D" thing always feels weird to me.

I didnt like the ad the professionals came up with. It went on for way too long, and they missed the point by only giving 5 seconds to each branch to personalize. The point was that they provide a personal customer service, yet they made a cookie cutter ad. The one Michael made showed that a paperless world doesn't mean without paper. It just means less paper.

As I'm going through your season 4 field guides, I'm starting to think it might be one of my favorite seasons. I'm saying that because I, like most Office fans, have episodes I just skip, but I think that season 4 has the least amount because it feels very real. I also used to live in Scranton, and honestly, for the ad Michael made, it would've resonated with people of NEPA. They love a small town, local ad like that. There's one ad for a company there (it's in the next county over, Luzerne) that I know my old coworkers and my in-laws reference all of the time. It's for a place called Genetti's Weddings. The commercials are like iconic to the people that live in NEPA.

This episode is awesome because I can relate to Michael when he saw the Corporate ad. I’m a huge fan of Adventure Time, Marceline the Vampire Queen, the double book and Olivia Olson but I didn’t like the book tour or comic con panels for it. I think Olivia Olson should have been and still be a Guitarist. Michael’s idea for the commercial is basically what I think the comic con panels and launch party for the Adventure Time book should have been
