Awesome stuff man!! Now the fun starts. We are limited with a Logitech wheel...now you can start putting together a nice echo system for yourself. Moza is so innovative with everything they do. Exciting times! Oh and thanks for watching!!

@@virtualmotorheads absolutely my pleasure man! Love Moza stuff, got the SRP loadcell pedals in january and they made me much more consistent and a bit faster overall! With the wheelbase you can push the cars so much more comfortably because the force feedback is so much faster and more detailed. See you on track!

Great to see some local reviews, especially with equipment we rarely see here in SA. I love the video and review, definitly gives me something to look forward to as I'd love to have a DD base sometime in the future. Keep up the good work, would love to see some more reviews in the near future.

Well done. Good to see someone learning from the ground up. I'm saving for my first dd. Currently using G29 with brake mod. I have two bass shakers which have definitely filled the gap in the g29 ffb so I would imagine they do the same with the r5 which is great.

i came from a TMX picked up a R5 a month ago, got this wheel 2 days ago had to relearn iracing lol awesome wheel . I assigned the bottom paddles as look left/right works great

Just bought my new Moza wheelbase + wheel couple days ago. Im currently tinning the logitech g923 wheelbase now with the CSL elite v2 pedals from fanatech. My package is coming later today. I ended up buying the Moza R12 and the KS wheel it. This review wa really hemofili in my fknnaly deciding on wheel as my ADD makes it hard for me to choose things when i have alot of choises 😅 However i will most likely upgrade the wheel to either to the FSR or the GT wheel depending alot on What games i still play inn a couple of months. Right now im playing f1 aswell but iRacing is taking up mlre and more of my gametime as i really have fallen in love with that game!

Hey man. Thanks for watching! Yes...going for the R12 was the right choice. I just put this together to show those with a R5 that the KS wheel will work just fine on the weaker base. But I am planning on getting the R12 in the future. Apparently, it is the sweet spot, and you will never need to upgrade again. PS: I also have ADD...so I know exactly how you feel. No problem. Thanks for watching. Soon the R5 will be available for sale as well. We need to push ourselves and upgrade to bigger and better. Will be either the R9 or R12. Don't know if the price difference of almost 6000 ZAR is worth the extra 3nm of torque.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the useful video, I hope you can give me advice. I come from Vietnam.Currently I'm using logitech g29, and I want to upgrade to moza, but I'm wondering between r5 and r9 I think r9 will be stronger than r5 but the price is too high, I don't have much time and I'm not a professional racer, So is r5 a reasonable choice?

Hi! First of all thanks for watching! If you have the budget, go for the R9. You will get more detail from that base. And seeing as you will be a casual racer, that should be more than enough for you. But if your budget is really tight. Stick to the R5. You won't regret it. Moza's little R5 base is a powerhouse and especially coming from the Logitech...it will be an incredible experience for you. Hope that helps. Let me know what you decide.

Would you say the R5 bundle is worth it as a first kit setup?

@@SoulofMachine MOST DEFINITELY! Writing in caps because you really can't go wrong. Just make sure you get the brake pedal upgrade kit. I do have the SRP Pedals though and not the SRP Lite that comes with the bundle. But yes...go for it. 😁

This is not a formula wheel. Moza is advertising it specifically as the KS GT wheel. In this video I am showcasing it with ACC. With Formula 1 cars, I agree the degrees of rotation should be way less, doesn't matter which wheel you are using.

@@apol4 I don't see the Moza R5 base any where by itself. But it is good to have a round wheel as well, unless you plan on racing GT3 and F1 cars only. I myself wonder why the R5 base is not offered as a separate option. Maybe they will do it eventually. Right now only bundle...but still worth it if you ask me. Nice to have that round wheel as well.
