This place was built higher up on that mountain 🏔️ nice and level some 100yrs ago then it slid down the mountain n mysteriously came to a stop right there in that spot exactly where you feel gravity heavier for some reason. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah we got a place called magnetic hill, you put your car in neutral and it coasts to the "top" it's actually going downhill though and is an illusion.

@angie052986 near Boone.. it’s a really cool place to visit.. but be prepared to see someone get some motion sickness!!!! I live in Lincoln County, so we have a straight shot up 321 to get there. If you live further away, definitely make it a weekend trip and check out Boone. The Mass General Store & the Daniel Boone Inn (the Inn is an amazing restaurant, be prepared to eat a LOt!)...

@angie052986 what area of NC are you leaving? In Burnsville, you will have good access to tons of things to do! You will have Hot Springs to your west, Boone to the north and Asheville to the south (which has the largest Dollar Tree in NC)! I have a crafting habit:).. You will enjoy the slower pace of the mountain life!!!!

Santa Cruz native here. It's because Santa Cruz really is that weird. Or its because the massively tilted building messes up your perspective, and the uphill board only appears to be uphill, but is actually angled downward, something that would be obvious if you could see it lined up with a fixed point of reference outside the slanted building. The dizziness is your visual perception and sense of gravity in conflict, as you see the tilted surroundings, but gravity is pulling in different way. Both are possible, and not mutually exclusive. (As much as I hate to admit this, there are other gravity hills like this-Confusion Hill on the North Coast and an attraction at Knotts Berry Farm are two examples. Its the same idea: the tilted building messing up your perception).

Here in Victoria Australia we have a hill that you drive your car half way up put the car in neutral the mountain pulls your car up by itself. It's a magnetic field. You feeling sick and all the weird things in that place I think is a strong magnetic source. Kind thoughts from Australia

Not the magnet field, they did laser testing and it shows that it is actually downhill at a 0.75⁰ angle, but the surrounding areas makes it look uphill

We have the same attraction in Idlewild Park Ligonier PA, an amusement park. Its all the same only a much bigger cooler 3 story version. Its just science and angles. Balls roll uphill, water pours up. Every room is at a different crazy angle where it feels so hard to walk and everyones standing at a crazy angle. They put a chair on the wall and do tricks sitting on it at ours.

There are places like this all over the world and it is actually an optical illusion the surrounding Forest is grown at an angle but to the untrained eye it looks straight like a natural for should grow also the ground before you go inside of the house is going one side up in inside of the house is going the opposite side up so when you walk in it feels like you're stepping on level flat-ground when reality you're on a very small heel then you step in to the house and it gives you the illusion that you weigh more and the whole house is leaning and so on so I grew up learning magic and doing really really hard puzzles and figuring out optical illusions as a kid that was my hobby now I am a street magician and I work with a lot of optical illusions but long story short it's just the untrained is looking at an optical illusion

Forester here. Conifer trees are genetically predisposed to grow straight up toward the sky with a pointy top. So even if they are obstructed by something from above, or planted at an angle as you suggest, the top will still curve upward toward the sky as it grows.

Basically an outdoor version of Grandfather's Mansion in Silver Dollar City. You can't actually see the horizon and it makes your brain lose track of what is actually flat or level, eventually your brain gets kinda "seasick" and will start to make assumptions about what is or isn't "level" and will start to throw off all your perception.

We have a place like this where we live called ghost Hill you put the car in neutral and step out of the car and it looks like it's rolling uphill but in all reality it is rolling down hill because the trees are actually growing downhill with the road that is also going down hill which the trees and the surroundings makes it look like it's going uphill confusing or no but there are actually videos on optical illusions to explain the situation and as a magician you learn there's an answer and an explanation for just about 90% of things in this world now if I could just figure out them damn UFOs
