Completely newly developed analog circuits by Junichi Ikeuchi, Korg's legendary synthesizer engineer (ARP 2600 M, MS-20 mini, ARP Odyssey...) offer a depth and richness that has never been seen in this form. by the way.. Definitely an interesting product. If I was gigging I'd get one because it seems to hit a sweet spot between versatility and tweakability.

It's a damage control from Korg after Electribe 2 tried to be everything at once and failed. Now they positioned it like a drum machine with benefits which is correct way to go. It's not a new and exiting tech, it's just an Electribe 3 with all the weak function removed or positioned as a "bonus feature". Not sure it's a bad thing tho. Probably this is how Electribe 2 should have been produced bak in a day.

also with logue sdk if im not wrong. hope they release some documentation about the sdk, and maybe some (assisted?) forum too. This is a new product, so there's hope.

I still am not 100% on this device. I'm not even 50% sure if this is worth money and time to explore; and I've watched countless videos. The one constant is that you sounds won't sound good until processed with effects. For me that's not a plus.

Just got one, unquestionably worth the price, now the question is will it work for the music you make? It's not an everyman machine but it is great for dirty/nasty beats, industrial, techno, experimental, I think it will excel for people in certain genres and styles. Overall I think it's a fun machine and certainly worth $500, depending on what you want/need from a machine like this there maybe better options, but most will cost you a bit more.

@24framemedia the prices continue to fall. Cheapest used I've seen on Reverb mint was $425. I almost bought it but couldn't pull the trigger. I completely agree that it b depends on what you're attempting to create and we all have our own tastes in sound.

@@Decoy303 $425 is a score! I paid $500 shipped for mine, it's worth $500. I feel the biggest hassle with it so far is going in and reprogramming all the awful kits they have 😂 but that aside I like it and I don't really see much else in that price range that excites me tbh
