With respect to Charles, I no longer watch those types of black men specials, they tell us nothing, its the same safe conversation that's been had. How about going into low income black neighborhoods and speaking to the under serviced black people to figure out how get them to just care and love themselves. This will enable them to treat their community better which will make their kids want better.

@@willienixon6847 #urhealinguriel for instance. I did a presentation in front of USF Health back in 2014 showing how breathing diagrammatically combined assisted stretching and pressure points to the feet and hands gives the body internal and external real healing for motor neuron diseases. In this I used one of their own clients where in 10 weeks 1 session a week she went from a walker to jogging on a treadmill. The head doctor got up and walked out.

Instead of talking to black men on the streets talk to them in their homes like I did as a former Probation Officer! Then you can really see why they have the attitudes that they have! I saw a lot people who's existence had them on continous survival mode because the basic necessities of life were so stochastic!

Black women told Biden he needed to have a Black female VP and Black female federal judges. They got both things done. Biden addresses lower prescription drugs prices, lowering unemployment, student loan relief, etc. What specifically have Black men asked Biden to do?

Never trust the unemployment numbers because they never factor in the number of people that have given up on looking for a job because they're either too skilled for what's available or don't want to be a part of the gig economy of having 3 low paying jobs that don't pay a living wage combined. As far as what Black men want, when have they been given an opportunity to do so and have it be strictly about them. When Mr. Obama attempted to institute My Brother's Keeper, the biggest detractors were Black women stating it left out Black girls. However, there's no pushback on policies that are exclusionary to Black boys and men. Google the 17 point Black Male Agenda if you'd like an idea of what Black men want from a policy perspective. I will say some republicans are getting traction with Black men like DeSantis ending lifetime alimony in Florida and in Tennessee where women that commit paternity fraud will now be prosecuted and may have to pay restitution.

My thought exactly? What about Secretary of Defense: Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Charles Q Brown Jr. I thought this was something for Black men. What do they want? I’m a 70 year old black man who lived through the civil rights era. Those rights that our ancestors died for are slowly being eroded by the White Nationalist Republican Party. If we don’t soon wake up, it’s gonna be real bad.

I can't bring myself to watch MSNBC, so I don think I'll see this show in its entirety. From the clips I saw the program seemed cliche-ish so I appreciate the further clarification given in this discussion. However, I don't think enough effort is made to reach Black men like the man in Boston screaming at the police outside of the migrant shelter saying he's homeless with a 40hr week job and never got these types of benefits. There was another news special where a gentleman was asked about what Karen Bass could do to get his vote in LA and his answer about his homelessness was quickly dismissed to discuss the rise in evictions/homelessness of Black women and children. The man was ignored. While Mr. Coleman is correct that most Black men are not turning to the Republicans, it could very well be the case if legislation that ends lifetime alimony like in Florida or prosecuting women for paternity fraud like in Tennessee are passed routinely by republicans. Google the 17 point Black Male Agenda if you'd like to know policies that Black men are talking about.

As a black man that's educated and works in the government helping people, I don't appreciate Jason blacks message to black men which is basically be miserable and compete or just accept what you get in life. Which is a lot of his relationship and self improvement messaging to black men. When it comes to history, I think he's unique and on point at times but when it comes to relationships etc. Don't appreciate his opinion at all.

As much of a crush I have on a Charles Coleman Jr 🥰and enjoyed the special. The reality is the desired targeted audience for this type of show isn't & wasn't watching it. You have some Black men who relate more to a Charlamagne The God (as bad as that is) much more than they ever will to Coleman, Trymaine Lee. Honestly a special like this falls on deaf ears and unrelatable to Black men not in the same grouping as the 2 professional white collar Black men responsible for this good special. What about Black men who are Truck drivers, who are like my good former co worker who works as a correctional officer with 4 kids. Black men who are on the streets or not college educated and don't keep up with the news. Who don't always speak proper English but still good men. Who aren't active in their community and just living their day to day lives. Yeah these Black men are ones who can easily be wooed to vote for a Trump. Because they feel the likes of Black men like Lee and Coleman, older Black men like say a James Clyburn or similar Civil Rights ilk and most definitely Biden don't relate to them whatsoever. Just my two cents as a Black woman outsider!🤷🏾‍♀

Biden's accomplishments were not inspiring bigots to get progressively loader and more bold. Seriously, some black people need to learn to see the bigger picture. In the time since Sara Palin white fanaticism has been exponentially on the rise. Trump has pushed white fanaticism to a whole new level. Racist used to be ashamed of themselves to walk around in public. NOW they are emboldened and proud, let these radicals like Trump keep fueling their fire. See what happens. And as a black person do you not live on planet earth? Black people need to start focusing on humans issues as well as just black issues. Remember, we're humans as well. If the planet dies, you die too buddy. Biden and the democratic party have done WAY more for environmental and regulatory safety. Trump historically repelled nearly all, if not all of Obama's safety regulations. One of which being train rail safety which resulted in the travesty that happened awhile ago spilling tons of dangerous chemicals in a populated area AND ironically another derailment that happened just now in Ohio. Trumps people also took away abortion rights which effects not only other races but black women and families. Biden's people rid of affirmative action for black people claiming it was racist and re writing history saying that it was made to oppress Asians and white people. Trump's side is trying to rewrite history and claim that systematic racism never existed, Trump side just recently demanded they have a white history month on twitter sharing memes of Hi****Leer* And N88@**zis. How many bad things like that happened under Biden recently? I know Biden isn't an angel, but one must think strategically. I don't want Biden in again because I like him, I want him in so Trump WONT be in. I don't care what little things Biden's done against black people. He isn't encouraging bigots to want to un a live me. I know that much.@@broshawnwest
