if anyone has played any DnD we all know that creature is called a Naga, human head, snake body. it's awesome as hell to see!

@@octopus1066 Naga is a separate creature to what I had described. Naga is a relative of Lamia and has a COMPLETE upper half that is human and the lower half of a snake. Nure Onna is a human woman's head on a serpent's body. And is a spiritual yokai monster that preys entirely on men who fall for its drowning ruse. They are two very different kinds of entity. Naga is a corporeal entity that can be slain in a battle, a yokai is metaphysical being and has no corporeal form to attack and can instill the deepest fear into anyone who bears witness to it by looking into their eyes. A yokai can literally break a person's will by revealing it's true form. If you look at entity 708(codex name) in this game it ONLY has a woman's head before it's snake body that makes it more of a Nure Onna than anything else.

There's a codex entry that says 708 or the 'snek' has trouble seeing stationary entities as prey. Try using that to your advantage. Stand still and she should slither away.

The face of the Whispering Wyrm/Snek reminds me of a ton of Halloween decorations I saw as a kid, just the way it looks and the way the mouth moves. The bit where she’s looking at you from the balcony and then suddenly jerks her head back into position sells that even more lol.
