To be honest I actually joined an anonymous group that takes time out of their day and the hospitals where we live by might give us a call. He will come by and visit and be there for a dying individual. It is one of the hardest things one can volunteer for and you can’t just apply. You have to be invited. It takes a lot and can be difficult for those of us that take the dementia patients. It hurts a lot and most of us I know are alcoholics and avid weed smokers. I personally do often drink a lot after attending a person. I stay and often hold their hand until the light leaves their eyes. After next year I plan on retiring the group. It takes too much and I have trained three good folks. I hope me leaving won’t leave someone without a hand on their shoulder as they pass away. No one deserves to die alone.

Told my mom about 4999, and for some reason she had to ruin it.

Do you have a Discord or some other social besides KZbin. I’m excited by the notion of talking with someone I have a lot in common.

That’s a bit parasocial but he does have a discord server you can join.

@@nicksfish3038 Not sure if I should be offended by that, but thank you for the info!
