I came back from reading the article myself, at it seems like every new set of residents in Clear Water (when they first appear) are just drones waiting for the storm to pass which killing former residents. Their minds don’t actually exist until the storm has passed.

Being a person who truly enjoys rain and the videos on this channel, I figured that this would be a good way to fall asleep tonight. I was wrong. Something about this scp fills me with fear, deep sorrow, and the feeling of unease. I hope that this doesn’t ruin rain for me in the future. This was an amazing story and I look forward to more. But this I feel like this one has changed me somehow.

You're neglecting the positive part of rain if you're letting this get to you. Remember, SCP stories are made to make people uneasy in some way most of the time. While this one tells a tragedy, it's merely half the tale. The other half is about birth and growth but was omitted to give the story that typical SCP unease. That comfort you gained from rain in the past is real. Rain gives hope to grow plants for food and clean air. This SCP is fictional, don't let it take away your comfort, but rather give you a glimpse at what others feel from time to time. Take comfort in the hope rain gives to life.

My favorite thing in this entire universe or multiverses is water.
