forgiveness is the choice of the victim and right that it should be. why would you feel regret for mistakes if you can always just mutter to yourself for five minutes and justify never learning from the error? you wouldn't and that's the problem with all iterations of phantom forgiveness no matter how organised or traditional. time forgives nothing, only kind people can do that and the odds that people deserve such altruism is slim at best. thus pain causes the evolutionary pressure to improve, failure to do so begets more suffering. without the kind the oblivious wouldn't last a week. never take for granted your shoe maker elves.

this version of the SCP universe really needs someone who isn't wrapped up in all the technical jargon to point out why a machine that depends on it always working or it breaks is a bad idea. though, i have to assume such a person would get struck by lightning the second they even thought about telling someone it's a bad idea, universe has it out for that timeline.

I pity and salute this department, for they sure are trying to dispose of things that make even dirty sewage and nukage unnaturally tame. Way beyond Marvel's Damage Control parameters, even. In the meantime, the Foundation sorely needs to lessen familial relations on their ranks. Also, that Chrono Legionnaire modus operandi against said junk surely felt wrong.

I recall there being an SCP that came in 3 varieties: one that erased something from existence, one that erased all memories of something from existence (I think), and one that (presumably) retroactively causes things to have never existed in the first place (and therefor as far as the foundation is aware it has never been tested on anything)
@cah137-y4s11 ай бұрын
I don't remember the number, but I'm pretty sure you're thinking of an article from the End of Death canon. Its mainlist title is (I believe) "Anti-Baby Gas". The first version of the gas renders any organism exposed to it sterile; the second version alters the past so that the organism was _always_ sterile; and the third version of the gas (which the Foundation states has never been tested) retroactively alters the past to make the organism's _parents_ always have been sterile, removing the organism from existence.
