I think that astrology is a science for kings or let's say people with power these days. And it is most important for them. For the rest of us, we all have average lives, more or less. A mediocre life is a wonderful life, calm, and we don't need to be special, anyway we are all unique. Wanting to be special is a kind of illness, I think. It means you don't like yourself the way you are, you are not accepting yourself and you want to be something else. We are all Vishnu incarnated in time and forgotten who we are. 👍🙏

@@Unblahyourself_ I know what you mean... I think I expressed my opinion on life which may not be everyone's cup of tea. When I said mediocre life, I meant being stuck in life without much progress and I think you understood this well... Gone are the days where people lived only for food, clothing and shelter... People these days want more... Without that want, there's less hustle and bustle... Without that desire, we probably wouldn't be a trillion dollar economy. I totally understand the fact of the self being limitless and without any needs... . But that is at the transcendental level where even astrology has no relevance...but we're still in the transactional level right? :)

@@VGSASTRO all well being comes from within. If you don't have it, you cannot manifest it. Getting what you desire, does not bring fulfill ment. But I guess we have to go through dharma, Artha, and kama before we can realize this. 🧘‍♀️

@@Unblahyourself_ Well, as long as one identifies with the higher self, there is no problem... Things happen on.its.own... But for those who haven't reached there... One has to be bothered about the practical side of reality, which is the transactional universe. Talking about moksha to a person with 5 children struggling to feed a square meal a day would most likely only garner her ire instead of praise. For the advanced soul, struggle becomes a reason for realising the futility of running in circles... and attaining vairagya. To this effect even astrology can only take us so far. That is why vedanta says, astrology and all vedas are lower knowledge whereas upanishads are higher knowledge. Despite this...there are only a handful interested in the upanishads.
