How French of you! The French walk around carrying their fresh baguettes and flowers. After my visit to France my snack of choice became baguette bread, mild white cheese and white wine!

Haha, my brother laughed when he saw the baguette like that. I think he said that on KZbin, when you hover over the video (for the tiny preview they show), it showed me in selfie mode with the baguette. 🇫🇷

they don't have driveways because it was developed before car dominance destroyed the US. it's like a normal city, like you'd find all over europe, where the house is pretty close to the sidewalk and the yard is in the back.

The car port is in the back of our homes or some have 1 car garage

I honestly. Don't understand what you're trying to do. You walk for blocks yet you aren't sure kof the direction, you cross streets without mentioning the names... And it looks to me like you have chosen the least interesting area of Shaw. I think you should prepare yourself better if you want to do videos like this. I saw your video going West from downtown and all you did is mention names of obscure buildings with no information . I don't think you know enough about St. Louis to satisfy a local of this city. You have a lot of competition so I think you should be better prepared. I hope you find this constructive and are able to prepare yourself with more information before taking this journey

Thanks for the feedback. My main subscriber base is from the Cleveland area, but when I visit other cities, I cram a ton of exploring in a short period of time, some of which (like the Shaw one) is spontaneous. The spontaneous nature makes it fun, and the journey on video is meant to be through the lens of someone who was basically dropped into the city & what their impression is. It is not intended to be a deep historical summary, but rather showing off a neighborhood in a relaxed manner that I thought was unique and distinct.
