Cool video, fun to watch, you guys do a great job. Our family lives in Hyder! Just as an FYI, you mentioned that there are 12 residents that live there year round. There are actually about 80-90 residents that live in Hyder full-time.

We drove the Cassiar Highway in August of 2019. It is a very scenic drive, and somewhat remote compared to the east section of the Alcan Highway. We were able to see upwards of eight black bears right next to the highway. Black bears can be different colors, ranging from cinnamon to brown to black. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

Ahaha! Yes we definitely have bug spray with us unfortunately it only helps so much 😩 the mosquitoes here are ferocious!

Did you have any issues getting a camp spot? What month are you travelling in?

We didn’t have any problems finding camp. We typically use IOverlander or our best judgement to find spots. This was in June. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
