That flooded mine looked interesting. Lots of old equipment around that one! Too bad most of those mines were gated. You probably didn't check the gate bars. None were probably loose, but you never know. That mine with the red door was really sealed up tight! I wonder why they did that? Most of those mines were tungsten mines. Tungsten mines always seem to be very stable inside. Great views of the distant mountains all throughout this video, Tom and Julie!

It was a real jungle around that flooded adit. The big jaw crusher was fun to see. I don't believe any bars were loose on these deluxe gates. Always worth making the rounds there just for the views. Thanks for watching, Frank!

@@TomandJulieMineExploring That one mine (I think it was the Tungsten Blue one) was reported to have a 300-foot haulage adit. That's probably what you were looking into. Probably not a lot of underground workings in these, but they would still be nice to access to document them.

Watched quite a few of your mine videos and enjoy all. Do you two ever wonder how those miners got those huge metal machinery weighing tons, erect those concrete footers, transport and install massive timbers, and carry them over rocky terrain and steep mountains up those rocky roads into those mines?
@TomandJulieMineExploring Жыл бұрын
Hi Joe, thanks for watching our videos. We are constantly amazed at how the miners were able to haul and install all of the huge, heavy equipment, in such remote locations. They would have to break things down as much as is reasonable and haul them by truck and in older times burros. Thanks for the comment!👍
