Exploring the weird and wonderful cars at a Californian Drag Racing Event

I recently travelled to California to get some much needed sunshine and escape life's mundane normalities. Whilst in the States, I decided to visit Auto Club Famoso Raceway, situated outside of Bakersfield, for the 'California Hot Rod Reunion', part of the 'National Hot Rod Association Heritage Drag Racing Series'. This is a series of races held at different drag strips throughout the year, designed to pay homage to California's drag racing culture and demonstrate the abilities of a broad spectrum of cars including: Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars, Front Engined Top Fuel Dragsters and Fuel Altereds.
I never intended to film any 'Vlogs' for this channel. However, it seemed right when I was presented with the opportunity to get some spectacular footage of cars which in the UK you would be lucky to see. So if you (the lovely audience) enjoy this format then please let me know in the comments box below and maybe I could look to incorporate more videos like this in the future.
This is a slow and steady project however I massively appreciate the support I have received so far and thanks to my cameraman Jordan Robinson for his continuous editing prowess.

I wish you would do reviews on older sports cars that the average person could buy. The one on the 944 was great and it helped me make a choice for my first car. I am now a proud owner of a 944. Also seeing old cool sports cars is cool to expand my knowledge and possibly even switch to a different car from the 944.
