Exploring The Wind River Mountains - Catching a Hundred Trout at a Pristine Hidden Alpine Lake

This is the first in a series of videos filmed in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming in September of 2021. This first video outlines our trip to our base camp and our first fishing trip to a near by lake. My cousin and I caught at least a 50 fish each from this lake, so between the 2 of us we easily caught 100 fish in about 2 hours of fishing. From the way the fish were reacting, I don't think anyone has fished the lake this this year or possibly even last year.

Silver Dollar lakes are Sandoiper and Shallow Pond. Fishing in 80’s was less fish but between 10 to 15 occasionally up to 18 and much better shape. Really need to eat several messes to slim population down.

I've hiked with a lot more a few times, but I'm trying to cut back so I can enjoy the hike more.
