That first white sofa is bonded leather, which is to leather as veneer is to solid wood. Ok, that is not a round, Barbie pink sofa lol, that is a tete-a-tete. Yes to a marketplace series. My God, you will be the Indiana Jones of furniture archeology, Design Daddy. Get the hat!

Dude, on FB Marketplace in my area. There is someone selling the fugliest drawings of celebrities. She had Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Leonardo DiCaprio. They’re bad. Like, it’s basically the portrait Napoleon Dynamite drew of his crush Trisha. So I went to her page and to my utter disbelief. They are SELLING. For $60 each!!!! I’m part of a FB community group in my city and it’s even got everyone talking about it in there 😅😅😅

I sold some IKEA stuff on FB--sold quickly because I noted that it was already assembled :D. I also bought chairs that go for $2,000 each for less than $200 for the pair--guy didn't know what he had and wanted room in his storage unit!

The stupid coffin shelf triggers me. I love gothic, as in Pugin and Abbott Suger and have plenty of pieces in my home that represent true gothic and its revival. The coffin, bats and kitsch chairs with rhinestone buttons are not it. As if Dracula would choose to be surrounded by that tacky garbage for all eternity. Make this a series... and perhaps a few videos on bad offshoots of good design styles.

My husband is an artist / painter and he washes / conditions our white leather sofa with some self-made concoction / emulsion of water, purified linseed oil, dish soap and white pigment and it is 10 years old and lovely.

I recently did my first purchase on facebook marketplace. A wingback chair in 2 different fabrics but otherwise in good shape. It was free but I paid 20 for the former owner to bring it to me because it wouldn't fit in my car. Love it to death. Sitting in it right now. Old furniture is by far better than nowadays. Please continue this series.

Haven't had the joy of finding an authentic wassily chair out in the wild, but a to I've been given is to check the end of the tubing. Original would have had a clean weld and reproductions would be capped. Plus, the hardware would be recessed and not sticking out. The ones in this listing are definitely reproductions.
