You just got another sub mate, love the channel and vibe!, excellent Dub soundtrack and you remind me of when I lived in Bkk in 2004-06 and was "urban exploring" before I even knew it had a name, a mate of mine(an ex district 8 cop) would take me to a lot of the buildings that fell victim to '97 and other downturns. I had to fire one up when you spoke of Saltbay(420!) it was 4:40pm, but still a good idea!
@JBWanders735 сағат бұрын
Thanks mate, really appreciate that. Some old guy just said it was a terrible soundtrack but he likes to troll haha. Yeah, there's a lot of urban exploring still to be done. I went to an old, old cinema recently, FULL of street dogs. It's been boarded up now mate...... it's always a good time to blaze 🙏✌

@@JBWanders73 Yep yep JB!, I won't say exactly where it was, but that mate of mine brought me to an old skyscraper which has a large community, a lot of whom work in jobs where they deal with farangs and others who make a ridiculous amount of money in comparison and remain SO nice and SO positive and SO welcoming!, they were and are fantastic people.

The Carlton hotel Sukhumvit soi 29 was as abandoned building 5 years ago. Now it looks great, mind you at 10 or 11 grand a night it should do. When you said your Mrs keep plastic bags in the car, I thought it would be to stick over your head if you started singing again.

It's been going on for a couple of decades here at least mate. The trips started out of BangTaboon Bay (you can also do nighttime firefly trips), and there are a few local operators. It seems that people go on them on day trips amd then go back home. Someone has now started offering the trips out of Samut Prakarn and advertising heavily.... I hope this doesn't destroy the business in Phetburi.

@JBWanders7317 сағат бұрын
"The Thais"..... rather vague. There are zero similarities to Cha Am or Hua Hin. To Phetchaburians, it's just Puk Tien, the place that mad dude built OVER the beach

Pre 97 Hua-hin wasn't the international resort we associate it with today.Cha-am and Hua-hin were more on a equal footing in terms of investment and tourist flows.When the old King relocated full time to Klai Kangwon Palace in 1999 was when things changed.
