If you wanna catch fish? Watch about 5 hours of KZbin by guys in your local area. Guaranteed.... They lay out the play book..... lures, bait, rigs, spots, depth and more. You got a good vessel. Let your local guys teach her how to hunt.

Looks fun! Little tip, if you're looking for some bait (smelt) you can find the eel grass beds near hog island and throw out a sabiki along with a little cut up squid/cat food/anchovy as chum. I have an inflatable boat I use in the area so maybe I'll see ya around one day!

those seals are either warming up or cooling down, Thermal Regulating they either do front and back flippers or just just front or back at hours at a time. it's normal. man that water looks nice to fish hopefully you get on some live bait and get on that big fish.

I know this was a while ago but fishing for rockfish from a boat in February is illegal. Next time look at the regulations for fishing for rockfish ,this year it opened up in April 1st for that area. And by the way I’m not trying to shame you or tell you your doing it all wrong but just saying if fish and game caught you you could of landed yourself a big fine

Thanks! Im not sure how well paint would stick. I think that I have seen some with vinyl wraps though. I believe the plastic is 'polypropylene,' so maybe you can see if there is a paint specifically for that material?

Hey I just subscribed for ya, I’m liking the port a boat...I got a 13’ Gregor I wanna go get some halibut in. I’ve already got several stripers from the sf bay and from the sac river. Lemme know if you ever wanna go we can meet up and go fish around, I got all kindsa bait from pile and blood worms to frozen anchovies, herring, sardines, tray bait, squid, mackerel, you name it... I got 3 flats of pile worms in my fridge now, might go hit the river tomoro.. from the shore.
