Where did you start from, and what footpath did you follow from nant peris to the towers with the awesome waterfall on route? Awesome video, mate. I've a recovering ankle injury and the lowest cave you went through to the secret waterfall I couldn't do yesterday (coul have got up that path, but getting down on my ankle? I followed a level to a cave above that cave entrance slightly to the left. My friend was too scared to come along the slatey level to the cave above your cave entrance. So I did the level to the above cave entrance alone while she waited. It's a dry cave/tunnel, but my battery in my headtorch had lost full power, so I didn't want to go in alone on a bad ankle alone on a not so bright torch. Have you been in the cave above the one you went in in the video. Accessed by the level above but below the massive staircase above this cave? Yet again, mate. Awesome video ❤

Hi Jules! From Nant Peris, head along the road back towards the National Slate Museum and the waterfall is on your left. It's just at the back of some side roads and down a path, it's called 'Ceunant Mawr'. A very easy walk along the bottom, even with a bad ankle! The scramble to the top is optional and there is a road that can loop you up to the top if you wish. I didn't know there was a cave above but since visiting I have found a few bits of interest that I missed. You can expect a return visit next time I am in Wales! I think you did the right thing playing it safe, you can tell from my video this was a little out of my comfort zone but I'm glad I did it!
