I always find it strange with asylums. They were typically terrible places (mostly for the paitents) but yet the buildings architecture is always so beautiful. Crazy how something so beautiful could hold such dark secrets.

It's because most of the buildings are so structurally unsound that it would be too cost prohibitive to repair them. Actually, the entire women's side of the campus was torn down years ago. Talked to a historian/security guard employee when I did a photoshoot there last November.

@@RensSpace that isn't entirely true. My friends and I used to be huge skeptics. We barely believed and when we visited an area close to where we live, a lot of paranormal things started happening. It's the reason we aren't skeptics anymore. Spirits can't sense if you believe or not. They are only active when they either choose to be or if they have enough energy to communicate, let alone want to communicate.

I’ve stayed the night here, and had some of the coolest experiences of my life. It was a few summers ago as a part of a small overnight tour group, and as someone who is very sensitive to energies and very intuitive, it was surprisingly peaceful. I think too many forget that most of the souls left behind there are those who became victims of their own poor circumstances, and they’re completely innocent. The closest energy I felt to negative was when I was contacting a young girl and asking questions while she responded with EMF spikes, we were interrupted by a male staff member (presumably nurse) who scared her away. He was more mischievous and had a heavier energy. I can’t wait to go back someday soon hopefully.

There was definitely something dark and shadowy moving in the background down at the end of the hall, looks like it's infront a door or something. But it moves in and out like it's watching Josh and kinda edgy about him being there.

We’ve been here twice now to do the haunts and the feeling there is so eerie. At the end you do a walkthrough of the one building and my brother was snapping random pictures and he got a picture of a little girl waving..... there were no little girls there. Also, one of the security guards near where we parked told us that he used to work the haunt but refuses to go back because he used to work the basement and something pushed him down the steps, you could see the fear in his eyes too, he wasn’t making it up.

Josh has an invisible guardian, I can see and feel it that's why no spirit/ghost will disturb him. I am far away here returned in Indonesia. I've been living around the world all alone since childhood including 8 years The Netherlands (also fluent in Dutch) 2002-2010, 3 years Bali 2011-2013, etc. I feel so connected to Josh, and funnily when I left Bali, Josh visited places on Bali where I used to been to. After Bali, then back to Java and now return to Ancestors here on Equator line Sumatra. I am also guarded by invisible for generations from Ancestors.

I'm having a problem with a 'haunted attraction' on the grounds of an asylum where so many people suffered and died. Imagine living in that time period where you're treated as an anomaly and shuffled off to this place away from family...we have a horrendous past regarding the unwanted and mentally ill.
