Tesla should put a Tesla Superchargers in all National Parks specially now with other electric cars that will be using NACS starting next year.

Agreed! Rivian clearly got the contract for Yosemite and L2 charging. Thanks for watching!

I have a ‘21 M3 SR+, and have been all over this glorious state of ours! Fort Bragg to San Diego, Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area, LA to Joshua Tree NP, Fresno to SLO… and many points in between! I’ve traveled on I-5, 99, 50, I-80, 89, Hwy 1… and countless other highways and byways. From ginormous metropolises to remote wide spots in the road with populations of two dozen folks. (Oh, and a 5,500 mile round trip from Sacramento to Louisville KY!) My Tesla does not restrict me. It frees me. Looks like a great trip with the family!

Yup, visited every National Park in CA (well, except Channel Islands), even Death Valley, plus Crater Lake and Grand Canyon... no issues, just some pre-planning needed for more remote parks far from chargers... but more added constantly, eg Sequoia/Kings Canyon have some nearby, and now more added outside Yosemite, so every entrance covered! (even east 120 Tioga coming next year, in Lee Vining)... .Yosemite is one of the easiest. Road trips are great.

Do you keep a spare tire? Planning on making this trip but trying to figure out how comfortable I am without a spare in case things go wrong.

For the Rivian chargers that you mentioned, do you need an adapter for that?
@TeslaTipsTrips3 ай бұрын
Just the J1772 adapter that should have come with your car. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for another great road trip video. What a beautiful part of the country. Interesting seeing that amazing steam locomotive, to which its invention revolutionised transportation at the time despite much opposition to this new technology. 🇬🇧
